FT report says two liquidators have been appointed

Al Murjan Real Estate, developer of a $3 billion housing project in Umm Al Quwain, has filed for bankruptcy after running into financial difficulties, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.
The company filed for insolvency in Sharjah and two liquidators have been appointed, the FT reported, citing documents it had obtained, and cited lawyers saying that it was the first court-mandated bankruptcy of a distressed property project in the emirates.

This forum has largely become an instrument for venting frustration. At best, it only helps in getting some updates. Apart from that, it is filled with very individual views and curses but does not lead to providing any useful direction.

It is quite clear now that there are two groups of investors:

I agree with Admin...This is our investment and the money we have paid which is stuck there in the middle of desert. We should actively negotiate with developers and master developers to secure our investment. We should take part and propose some solutions actively. We should be united to get the result.
