explain your unanswered questions or points of view about GCD2 construction
as we all know, there are still many unanswered questions about Goldcrest Dreams II project and here i am going to open this conversation to sympathy and if possible invite some people to gather and ask about our problems and questions from ETAStar (the developer of this project). here i begin this subject with some of my own questions:
1-why the name of this project is not added in ETAStar main web site yet, when GCD1 and GCD3 are in their project list (www.etastar.com)
2-why the price of this project is more expensive than many other projects in Emirates City when many of other projects with even more better location like being near the lake and containing free parking are about 350-375 Dhs per Sqft and this project at the time of opening (last year) was 400 Dhs per SqFt, (that time any other project was less than this price) and now the price is increased to 425 Dhs per SqFt (although this is a good news for owners like me, but this question is still on my mind, cause to be more expensive must have a logical reason like "sooner finish time", "better equipments", "more beautiful buldings", ..?!!!)
3-why the construction has not begun yet and when exactly it is going to be started? can the developer finish this project at due time or not? and if the answer is yes how? it is march 2008 and how they want to complete all 3 towers in less than 2 year with good quality ?
4-as we know the name of ETAStar is such a great and well known name in Emirates and one of the main reason for many of owners who choose to purchase from this developer. but why their customer care service does not really support customers and doesn't answer their question well. it is the less of customer right to ask and know about the construction status of his/her own building.
ok, now i wish that all you, the owners of GCD2 take part in this conversation and tell about your own points of view and also about the items that i mentioned and give your suggest about how we can contact with developer not individually or personally, but like a group of customers to act like the representators of other customers and more serious.

before everything just let me tell you that i couldn't check your link because of a bug in that page. but the important thing is that, it's not really important that you introduce a site which has some little info about GCD2, cause in that way i can go to www.google.com and make a search about GCD2 and surely many related web sites would be shown as the result.
actually i didn't ask you to introduce me some liks, i asked why in the main web site of ETAStar, i mean in www.etastar.com, there is a list of projects and it contains GCD1,GCD3,GCV1,GCV2, but there is no name about GCD2. if you can answer it, please do it, and if not, i don't want you to link me to other addresses.
i want to know, if this project like GCD1 and GCD3 is related to ETAStar, what is the reason that ETAStar doesn't name it in the list of its project ?!!!

As I said before, Goldcrest Dreams 1-3 devloper is the Star Giga which is JV between the ETA Star and Mazyood Giga.
Eta Star also selling units there and maybe they forgot to put on their website.

You can ask the ETA Star , why it is not on the website , this is the best way.

What I understand is that while the developer for the other projects is ETA Star, the developer for GCD 2 is not ETA Star but Star Giga Real Estate Co. And Star Giga company is a joint venture of M/s ETA Star AND M/s Mazyood Giga. Therefore, possibly the details of GCD2 do not appear on the site of STA Star, but they appear on the Site of Star Giga Co. which is.....

But it does show that the project has the involvement of ETA Star, and if I am not wrong, the levelling/digging, etc., for the GCD2 project has started.

It's great that farzadxsharif has raised the issues. It's also very kind of Imre, Ajman etc to give such good replies so we should thank them very much for helping.
1. The web site is not an issue really as, as Imre and Ajman say, the details are on a Star Group website so it doesn't suggest problems with the project just a confusion re web allocation/design.
2. As for the price, we were happy as ETA has a good reputation and their other projects seem to have been delivered on time and quality (see Imre's pics of Goldcrest Views). Whether a person pays the price is their decision I guess.
3. Construction seems now to have started and their previous projects seem to have gone pretty quickly. Someone also mentioned that they had been on-site and noted the happy and professional workers (compared to some others). A delay wouldn't be surprising though as this seems a common pattern and the requirements for labour etc must be getting very high.
4. We have found that you can get good customer service from Star if you keep trying, keep phoning and perhaps go see them. Once you have a name and a contact then all gets much clearer.
So far, we haven't seen the need to complain 'as one' about anything but I am sure the need may arise! So we should monitor and keep discussing issues. Thanks to all.
