Once again concerns have been raised about the construction progress at the most of the Emirate City projects after the recent visit of Bro.Dwarish.
I including all the other members of this forum who reside abroad, respectfully request you all along with the other friends in Emirate to organizea members meeting as soon as practicable so that a proper reprentation can be made to R Holdings & all the major developers/Agents to highlight our concerns.
Your Prompt response in this matter will be greatly appreciated by all.

A good idea would be that we all jointly seek advise of a lawer in UAE or even in Ajman if there is any law to protect the investors ?

The major drawback of we members united in this forum is that our case is not been presented anywhere for action. Hiring a good lawyer is expensive. But if we share the cost, then all our thoughts and discussions would not be in vain

Request for a members meeting.
Dear friends,
My name is Abdul Azeez and am a new member of the Emirates city forum. I used to follow up with all the articles posted in the forum though I havent actively participated in the discussions. I have also signed the petition for construction progress update which was floated in the forum a while ago.
I would like to know if there is any clear date and time which has been agreed upon by the members for a meeting (In August 2009 or the near future) to discuss about the issues faced by all of us - particularly the construction based payment and rescheduling of payments if the developer doesnt finish the construction on the promised date( Atleast the revised date). Any other issues would also be welcome. We can try and organise some legal expert's help to answer our queries, as much as possible.
If not, i would like to know who all would be interested in attending a meeting which I would like to propose on the 28th Aug 2009(Friday) or 29th Aug 2009 (Saturday) during iftar time. I already have four friends/ investors who would be interested in attending the event and possibly a lawyer friend of mine who has significant experience on property related issues. The venue can be decided based on the number of particpants. If the participants are more than ten, we may have to share the expenses of arranging the meeting. Member's help in organising the meeting is also welcome. Thank you.
