Contract Cancellation
Dear All,
I'm about to cancel my contract with sweethomes for my apartment in Rainbow Tower B14 (a 655 Sq Ft 1 Bedroom). The penalty will be 50% of the amount i paid (172000 AED), So i will get back around (85000 AED). If anyone wants to take the apartment for the same offer (pay me 50% of the amount i paid then continue paying remaining installments of 107000 AED) please contact me on 050 6000439.
FYI sweethomes has offered me a construction-linked payment plan, there's no more installments every 3 months.

Can someone clarify-- perhaps the moderator what is the law in regards to cancellation of contract, lets say i have already paid AED200000 and the value of the flat is AED 400000 how much will i get back. because i have no faith in my developer, better to loose some money and invest in something whereby my money will grow over the period of time.

If the guy who says that prices are 200 AED per sqft, then how would your unit still be worth what you
paid two years ago. I bought in the UK just before the crash in the 80's and i had to keep my units for a
few years until the market recovered. Dont listen to fools who think they can give you a value for your
property. Property is worth what someone is willing to pay and i dont see much evidence of sales at the
moment. Swapping seems to be the main focus at the moment. Be careful and think before you try to sell
as things are improving.
Current Market Price in Ajman
This is just my thought, you can decide on your own.
The current market prices in Ajamn as mentioned by various persons on this forum is about AED200 per s.ft.(50%) for ready apartment.
Say you have paid 100,000 (25%) out of total cost of 400,000 (approx. AED400 per s. ft). The remaining amount 75% needs to be paid by you in installments till the handover.
The ready apartment price is almost 50% of what you will pay, so why pay reamining 75% instead buy a ready apartment for 50%.

If you know where i can buy at at 200 AED pers qft i wish you could tell me. I spoke to a developer
whose price seemed low but he wanted 320 per sqft for a fininshed unit and he wanted cash upfront
and when i asked if he had an escrow account he said he was waiting for the paperwork to come through.
I hope you are not one of those dreamers giving us false hope
