GCD3 Contract

Has anyone received a corrected contract yet? I returned my contract at the request of Star Giga but they are yet to issue me a new contract. I bought my property in November 07 and it has now been more than six months and I'm yet to receive a contract. I've emailed and phoned the customer service team but they seem to be avoiding all attempts to contact them.

I returned my contract and received it back a couple of months ago with an appendix detailing all the fixtures and furnishings etc that the apartment will come with. It's a pretty long and detailed list (even mentions an LCD TV!) and seems to cover most things. I've got a couple of contact names which I can't remember of the top of my head who I found to be quite helpful, I'll forward these on to you.

recieved the contract in the last week of may with amended pages. These ppl are too slow wether the delivery of contract or installment reciepts or contracts, i'm also worried about my may reciept of may contract.

I purchased a 1bd flat April 2008 but I'm still waiting for the contract. How long did it take for you?
Have any of you visited the site in the last months?
Any progress?

Contract and receipts GCD

Goldcrest or Star Giga is generally slow with their paperwork, but you get it eventually ( even though it takes a few phone calls sometimes). This is my experience with them on a purchase in GCD 2.
As of the progress on GCD 3, I am not sure they have even started. I shall visit the site soon and will take photos. They should at least be doing the soil testing by now.

I will take as many photos as possible, but it'll be second half of July, so patience !!!!!
In general: every time I went to the EC site there was tremendous activity and lots of progress. The good thing is, that they make their cement on site, so once they start building a tower, progress is much better than in Dubai, where the cement needs to be brought in from elsewhere and mostly at night.
Plus: the fact that there are no basement parkings makes the foundation work speedier, too.

Progress for crown residencia

Funny, it seems that it was at the door.cuz I just receive it after the post “So Long”. It seems that it has detail furnishing even more appliances that I expect, except the brand promised and motorized curtain

GCD 3: Notice from Star Giga Est. for Payment Default

Just wanted to know information from investors in GCD3 project. Has anyone received notice of default? I've invested in a 2BR apartment in this project with parking in April 2008 and have made payment of Dhs. 122.7K till date, but haven't seen any progress on construction/development on this project, till date. I'm keen to understand the options available to initiate procedure with ARRA and Star Giga Est. to get either the payment back OR look at waiting options in case there's a confirmation of the Escrow Account on the ARRA website, including a clear and concrete information released by the developer, on the construction process and a firm commitment on its completion, meeting all obligations and offerings (as per the sales and marketing strategies employed by the developer to woo investors) of the property in question. We also need a firm answer from Star Giga Est. on compensation to its buyers for any further default, delay in construction and delivery of the unit in the property under discussion. Any other investor from Canada? Can we approach through the Canadian/Indian Consulate? Please advise/provide comments.
