Emirates Road Developments
This is the best map I could create with the information I have been able to peice together. If anyone has suggestions, additional developments, or if I have made an error please message me and I will update as nessesary.
My next step is to add the planned roadways, but this may take a bit of time.
The original is an a higher resolution, but the site brings it down. Can anyone tell me how to get a higher res copy posted here?

i think dwarish on skyscrapers forum mentioned there is another road from emirates city to dubai, and thus avoiding the busy emirates road, (and may also be building a newer multi lane road too)
it would be good if that was on there as well, so we can get idea of effiecent travel route to dubai.
would be good to place position for a metro station too perhaps next to central mall in emirates city and send to ajman municipality }:)

I have also seen that posting by Dwarish- perhaps Dwarish can provide more detailed info on the subject matter.
Your Suggestion for the Metro position is undoubtedly the ideal one and it will be the icing on the cake for all the Ec dwellers Inshallah when it happens.

Very thanks for your nice map. There is a link in the bottom of the topic named Original. If you click on it, You can see the original size and resolution of the image. This ability just active for members, SO the members should log in to see the original version of image.
Meanwhile, It's very good If you add this map to the Ajman Forum (www.ajmanforum.com). No need to create a new account. You can log in with existing username and password.

"The UAE emirate of Ajman plans to build a 13 billion-dirham ($3.54 billion) city stretched out over 3.72 square kilometres, state news agency Wam reported on Sunday.
Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, ruler of Ajman has signed an agreement with developer Ajman Oasis to build the city, which will include a shopping mall, hotels, mixed-use towers, hospital, school and other amenities.
The project, which will be located between Ajman and Sharjah in the Al-Tallah area along Emirates Road, is expected to take 10 years to complete."

This is great Smitty. The pic/map gives a farily good idea of how the different developments are going to be placed along Emirates Road. Certainly would have liked a higher resolution version of your work. There must be some way.....
