my agent (4UProperties) has mailed me, that I should pay my installments hence direct on R Holding bank account. So I did it for my last installment. I have mailed many times to R Holding to know if they have received the amout and to get the scaned receiption, but without success!!
Finally I got the mail adress of one of the R Holding's staff from my agent. I contacted the lady and ask her if she has received my payment and could send me the scaned receiption! After some days she wrote me that I should pay a penalty about 460 AED because I have began the installment from september and I should do it from july 2007! Now I have just reserved in july 2007 and received the contract in january 2008! How should I know that I have to pay since july if I became the contract in january08?? Anyway I wrote her back that I don't accept any penalty but I am ready to pay the both installments together with my next one!
But till now she didn't send me the scaned receiptions and answer me!!!
My question from our friends, who have buy a flat from Lavender or Lilies tower:
Do you have the same problems with R Holding? It's common, that the building companies in UAE have so baaaaaaaaaaaaaad costumer service?

The answer is "Yes!"....Most of the companies in the UAE do not have good customer service as you have experienced with western companies. So you should lower your standards and expectations to their level of service or be patient and brave to ask them persistently what you need till you get your desired service. I had no specific experience with R-Holding....other members who have bought from R-Holding may help you more. But I think it was your realtor's fault....They should have told you how many installments you had to pay in advance as down payment.

The Emirates city is claimed as a mega and very important, even flagship project for M/s R- Holding, but its prooved in last 2 years since they launched the project, that they are not capable to handle such a mega project, Their costumer service, technical services are not at all as required to handle such a mega project even I experienced the same, one payment which i have done through bank six months back but even today i am receiving the call for that perticular payment and every time i need to explain and they say sorry sir.
If company can not handle this kind of account its enough to loose the faith from the company, They have appointed Abu-saif as a contractor it was a big mistake as the past record of M/s Abu souif is not all impressive, the contracor who have not built more then 16 story building, and that only one which has been completed in last 5 Years, how any one can trust on that.
Secondly if they finalised with this contractor why no action has been taken till now against Abu saif even after completing almost 10 months of contract period and the performance will show that nothing has been done in time like I strongly belive that this contractor to be removed immediatly and bring some reputed contractor who can deliver their flagship project in time.
Its the reputation of FLAG SHIP PROJECT OF R-HOLDING, and i wish this flag always remain high.
Dear Arien, please don't trust R-holding costumer care staff, and sort it out with the agent you should not pay any penalty as it was not give to you in writting and if some one required to pay let your agent pay.
But try finish this subject as fast as possible, where r u located if I can help you please send me your details I will contact them personally / over the phone and try to conclude.

@dwarish Do you know a Ms Calina from R Holding? I have written her many times and asked her to send me the receiptions of my payments and say me if I should pay the two installments with my next payment or not. But unfortunately she didn't answer my emails. What do you mean is better to do? Should I call her?

I heard they put new management specially accounts section at their office in Ajman. I had some problem with them last month becouse they were not accepting installments until they check every landlord contracts, my agents tells me they had spotted some descrepencies between the start of contracts and start of installments payments. It took them weeks to sort out that mess and at last they accepted my payments through my agent after that check. I might be wrong but I think UAE is good when advertising and attract customers to their products, but as soon as they make the sale, after that customer care is to the minimum with exception to the big companies. they will deliver mostly but at their pase, the reason being they know that there is big demand and the law is on their side.

finally I have could to establish contact to R. Holding via my agent, directly can you forget! My agent has says me, as oshurie has written, R Holding switch the management staff and their to bussy to answer the costumer requestions!!! (New prespective of costumer service!!! We don't have any time for costumer, just give us your money!)
Anyway it seems that I should pay the penalty without became any reminder before! That is r holding costumer service!!
