I want to know if access to the Emirates City site is free for everybody. Also, can a visitor take his car to any corner of the site. In fact I want to vist the site myself to take some snaps and do not want to face any disappointment in case the access to the site is denied. Thanks

It is possible to visit the site,I did it myself, and I think the best timing is Friday morning to avoid the construction vehicles on site, also It is better to go with 4WD car Because of the road site condition

We have Image Gallery. It's very good if you add to the gallery. Other firnds can find them better in the future and can compare time to time the progress.
I'm ready to craete a section for the towers which the construction is started. Just inform me.

It's a really great idea, Qeshmi! But too late idea. I've broken my mind wnen I've tried to attach those pictures in Gallery. So decision was to post them in the new topic. And I'll do the same next time if I'll not find an appropriate section for the tower under the progress.
Please note that at present the restrictions are very less, if you haven't 4 wheel drive we suggest to park on side at the entrance at walk down.
What i believe that this freedem will very soon go away once number of towers will rising up, as suggested Friday is the best time contractors are working till 12 Noon as normal day.
I've been to the site past Friday on 06.03.09 And have made pics as well. But then I saw a pics uploaded on 09.01.09 by VV and understood that there's no a single change for last 2 month. Bsides everything on site looked like left and abandoned. There's no any paper on tables in cabinets. Insted thik ply of dust covering everything as insite as outsite. And no any footprint on floor or finger or hand print on tables... The works have been stopped long ago that's for sure. And I don't know what to do...
Can some one tell me if the construction contract is signed and work is started. Also, if the esscrow account is opened. This has been going on since 4 months now.
