I am inquiring about the flats in Al-Furqan towers. I have contacted several sales agents, and have seen prive quoted from $380/sq ft to $599/sq ft on al-furqan tower website.
Can someone please tell me where I can get more infromation and what is credible if someone has made a purchase in past

Al Furqan Twin Tower
Hello Everyone,
I bought a 1 bedroom in Al Furqan twin towers last year. However as per the purchase agreement completion of the project was due in June 2009. This will not be achieved and I have been advised that this will now be sometime in 2011! I have also been advised that due to new escrow laws that have been introduced in Ajman, the construction of the project has ceased pending on their escrow application.
Has anyone else bought in this project, and if so has the developer discussed anything in relation to relaxation of further progress payments. Please advise thanks.
Need Urgent Advice
I had invested in an Burj-ul-Furqan in June 2008. There was a broker involved who had exclusive rights from developer to sell these units. I had paid 75% of the amount to broker in June 2008 for one unit. The broker sent me SPA (Sales and Purchase Agreement) and asked me to sign and return it and they were suppose to send it for developer to sign it. It has been almost an year now and I have not received back the SPA.
The broker tells me they are having issues with developer and I contacted the developer and he is blaming broker. So it has come to a blame game with my money stuck with broker or developer. I know several other investors in Saudi Arabia, Canada, UAE that have invested in same project and are all in same boat. Broker is saying they are planning on taking legal action against developer.
I have all email transaction records between myself and broker.
Please let me know is it worth fighting a legal battle, and if so, with whom (broker or developer). What should be the best strategy in this scenario?

this is clear case of cheating so first of all you should go for a police complaint, when police will go to your broker he will come imm. to you and this is most economical way. if you go for court case it will be very costly and will take longer time

I would like to ask everybody not to invest in UAE specially in Ajman and Dubai . My friends and I so lost investments there. The developer Al Furqan Real Estate and real-estate May Fair International refuse to give me my flat and refuse to pay my money back. The government in UAE doesn’t stand by investor.

I would say it is not enough. The administrator must bann anybody from the website who misuses it for other purposes.
