I was in the site last week.Please be optimist.There are some woking ine the site specially for Sweethomes's towers.
However , I do not think That EC will leave or hold as it will be completed.
Investoers should be carefull but it did not mean that they should stop payment.They should check the deveoper and if they work on the site so they should pay as same as contract.

work is only on two towers
work is only on two towers B5 and B6 for last 8 months and investers can not think about getting the unit atleast another 3 to 5 years.

all rainbow towers standstill since 3 months , sweethomes in great confusion bec more and more investors start stop paying for this misleading situation of all emirate city , go to main office u will see people coming allover the world shouting , crying for their rights but who will listen , fahad dero? ajman government ? , u must be optimistic in telling true news otherwise u will be some company agent ,sorry for my words if tough , situation is very serious in emirate city ,most of developers belong to ajman gov , no plans for completion , infrastructure == big fraud brother
payment linked to construction
It doesn't really matter if they work slowly or quickly. We should insist that all payments are linked to construction and that a good percentage of the price is left to the end when buyer gets his property. developers should have some money to work with, they can't ask us to pay everything in advance.

the biggest problem with construction linked payments is that it deals with ONLY the completion of the said tower.but ask your self these questions after you have paid 100%
1. Can i live in this tower without electricity? (generators are very unlikely )
2. there are no MALLS, no restaurants near by, no mosque, MEDICAL facilities, police station nearby etc
3.how safe is the area for my family with construction workers and equipment all around me ( definitely all towers will not be completed same time)
4. what about the ROADS inside the city
5.what about loss of income for 50% pay plan before completion and 50% after completion over a period of time etc
the only solution now seems a frank discussions between developer investors with COURTS involved where by we have a discussion and majority try and reach common ground on major issues. after reaching an agreement may be ARRA and COURTS can make sure developers enforce these decisions from ESCROW and also gaurantee refunds with compensation if agreements from this discussions are breached.
