Is R holding selling the apartments? Is anyone having contact with R-Holding?
Try to get the name of the Developers(for different Towers) registered with R-Holding.
It seems that apartments are being sold only by the Plot Owner/Real Estate Agents.
R- Holding is the owner for two towers , Lavender and Lilies tower ( D1 / D2 ). When we purchased directly from R Holding, we signed with R Holding only>>> rest of the plots are being sold by them to other developers... now the list of these developers are not that big as lots of top players are there like ETA GIGA ( 8 Plots ), Chapple Group ( 4 Plots ) , BSEL ( 4 Plots ), Sweet homes ( 16 Plots ). But I will try to get the complete list of developer associated with The Emirates City.
We need to a list of all plots | tower name | developer | completion date in a table.
I will insert a table in the catalog page, then you can complete it.

I am looking to book an apartment in BSEL Kahraman towers. BSEL is giving it for 470 / sq ft. I am not sure if this is a good time to book or not and not sure if the price is right?

Anyway I have visited EC today to see the construction progress in general. I have seen the work is going on Pearl and Feroyz towers but I have been told by BSEL 'insider' at the site that no construction activity is happening at other 5 plots - I think D8 to D12 and workers are removed from the site. The 'insider' told me that the construction of Paradise Lake Towers and some other projects in EC has also stopped.
Has anyone got any such news of projects getting frozen in EC particularly BSEL Kahraman towers D12
If you are purchasing the apartment with any developer be sure that payment plan should link with the completion date , any payment which has to made upon handover or post handover should be marked in black and white.
Ask for the penalty clouse if project delay by 90 days how developer will compensate you.
However BSEL is the good developer and they shown by the progress, they started 6 months back and today they are reached to 4th slab in perl, there contractor performance is very good compare to others in the Emirates city and perticularly with contractor ABOU seif.
Its good that you have read lots of loop holes of the contract before you are purchasing, 470/- looks reasonable which floor they offered of floor rise is additional.
Well Pearl tower rates are higher. the one they have offered to me is in Kahraman towers - no floor charges. The floor will probably be on 40+ Pilling is complete but they have not get the license to start the work + the guys at site told me that for the time being the work has stopped on Kahraman and other 4 towers. Pearl and Feroyz are above the ground and work in progress.
If floor charges are "0" then its a deal subject to clearity on the construction if 40+ floor means the rate would be less minimum AED 40, hance its 430/- good price indeed.

I have spoken to Helen at BSEL and she gave this rate however when I visited the EC I was told by the office boy at BSEL that piling is already completed but the labours have stopped coming to the site and the project is stoppedon hold for now. He told me that work on Paradise - I think lake towers which is close to BSEL site is already stopped and he said same is the fate of BSEL project.
You need to speak to christina at BSEL .Last time i spoke to them they told me that they are now selling the Emarald Tower at 475/sq ft which is the next tower that they have launched.I was looking for a small unit in Kharaman Tower and ive been told that they r all sold out.
Do you think it is ok to be involved in a purchase deal in BSEL Kahraman towers despite the current bad real estate situation. I have heard that after piling they have stopped the work. Has anyone heard otherwise.
