Petition Launched - Please Sign!

Dear all,
This is just to bring to your attention the fact that the petition concerning the "Monthly Construction Progress Update" has finally been launched - in case you missed my announcement in an earlier topic chain with the same title. Please sign - we'll need several hundred signatures in order for this petition to have any weight with the developers.
Related to this, I've noticed that some members have signed the petition, but then opted to hide their names. Please don't do that, otherwise we'll just end up with a list of towers, rather than a list of member names to support our petition. If for some reason you don't feel comfortable revealing your name, then don't sign at all. Having said, I would encourage everyone to sign (and do so properly). We are not doing anything we need to be afraid or ashamed about; what we are doing is requesting the developers for some transparency and accountability in return for our continued faith in the EC project and timely payment of installments.

Dear Friends,
First of all, I appreciate all who have signed the petition. We all -admin, Amal, and signatories- are trying to keep your right. So, If you didn't have sign it yet, Your friends expect you to support this their request. It's for me, you and us.
Maybe you don't agree with this petition or maybe it's not important for you, But you should notice that It's the begining of a move. As you know all of projects have delay in construction and so in delivery. We will need to force developers in the near future. Maybe you will be one who launch a new petition and a new move. Why not? You can start right now and gather signature together with existing petition.
We should be united. When we see that many of you just visit the petiton page and don't sign it, It make us hopeless. Why we are here?!

In the signing form, There is a check box which the signatory can check it when he/she don't want know by other visitors.
But when this petition will send to target, Their names would not be hidden. Otherwise as Amal said, Your signature wil not be valid.
So, If you don't want to show your full name (first and last name) to the target, Please don't sign it at all. It's better.
Now it's the time of action not discussion. Your friends are waiting for your signature. Don't make them hopeless.

Confirm your Signature
I checked the visits and saw that many of signers didn't have confirm their signature by clicking on the link existed in the sending email.
Please go to your mail box and click on confirmation link. Otherwise your signature will not apear in the signature list.

Dear Friends,
Every one can sign once. The system checks your IP and your name, So if you sign twice, The system can't accept the second signature.
It's a validation rule as well as confirmation via email. Otherwise, We can't be sure about validity of signatures and the target (here is R-Holding) rejects the validity of it. There are other secrets that i can't say it for security affairs.
If you invested in more than one project or units, Please mention the name of all projects once.

Petition Launched - Please Sign!
Dear All,
I would implore all forum members to sign this petition. Under the current circumstances this is the most reasonable step to make the developer realize that he has to act. Further we should also inform other people who have bookings in EC but are not members of this forum.
I hope that the present financial turmoil in the world and UAE passes away soon.

Petition - do we want one??
Over 500 people have read the petition, but only about 60 have signed it. I wish someone would explain to me why the response is so weak and what we can do to improve it.
Various other initiatives are being suggested by other members - another investors' meeting, creation of a neighbours' committee, hiring a lawyer, etc. etc. However, nothing will ever get accomplished if we can't get more than a handful of people to support any particular initiative!
Where are the 900+ people registered on this website and what are they thinking?? Please respond!!

A clarification request on the petition drive - this is for purchasers in EC alone - correct.
I bought in Ajman Uptown (Sweethomes), so my signing something for EC alone won't make sense. If I am wrong, pls let me know - happy to sign.
Given that Ajman has at least 40 projects (?), not bad that you could get 60 buyers lined up. I think as you announce, and proceed with your plans more people will join in.
I agree that many alternate suggestions are being proposed, while distracting - ultimately it is the group that does something that will gain momentum, even if it initially starts with just 5 people. I personally think you can keep the petition open, while starting to approach them with the 60 buyers, already on hand.
Also, I think the admin may want to create a private email address - where people who don't want their names etc. revealed to the outside world, can email details - otherwise, people tend to sign anonymously....which doesn't seem to be of use to you. Just some thoughts.
Petition - please confirm your signature!
Dear all,
There are 25 signatures that have not been confirmed yet. As advised earlier by our Administrator, those that have signed, but not confirmed, should go to their regular email box and confirm their signature through an email they have received from the petition system.
Once again, would encourage more people to sign as soon as possible, to enable us to forward the petition to the developers. Thank you.
