Payments to sweet homes
Those who are still paying the installments to sweet homes, are you paying the old post dated checks ? or did you replace old checks with new once to the escrow account recently opened for paradise lake towers
I requested sweethomes to return my old checks and told them that I will issue new checks to the escrow account and they tried to convince me that they I have already submitted all checks in the escrow account , is it possible ?

Old post dated cheques will go directly to Sweet homes account, ARRA have access to the New Escrow Account only...Why dont you go to ARRA office and ask them to call Sweet Homes...I dont know from which part of earth the owners of Sweet homes are... GREEDY....It's like fighting a wall, there is no way out...Let us leave all to God to judge these people...

i stoped paying sweethomes for my unit B14 since Feb2009,i have already paid 140k to them , any idea what will happend ?

Nothing, if you still have money you go and tell them to reshedule in to installment of smaller amount till 2012 and start paying.

thank you for your reply,but is there any works in site..they are telling that tower reach to 6floor ,its been 2years now so thats mean another 5years to finish, is there any future in emirates city?

dear ivestors i paied about 55% of installments = 205k from 400k for rainbow 10 which construction may be 15 % , next feb i have to pay 17k and march 20k which mean 10000 dollara ! for this shit , my problem i gave postdated cheques , what optopns i have to stop this ? any openion will be hgily appreciated

contact arra and get legal advise from them
ask arra why investore has to pay penatly in case if delay and devolper not ?

Has anyone in Sweet Homes Rainbow Towers resheduled his or her payments or cancelled any apartment?? What is the procedure for this ?? A prompt reply would be appreciated.

It is laughable that shameless developers are threatening to levy fine on investors for the developers delay in project. How come the rules in Ajman have become upside down. Developers and master developers are delaying the projects indefinitely. And instead of giving compensation to investors for the losses due to delay and losses due to rental losses, they have the boldness to send email for fine on the investor. It seems these developers were goondas and survive on cheating the people. They have good experience of cheating people in the projects of the home countries, and therefore they want more money from investors (inspite of no construction/ no completion) so as to cheat the investors more and survive. Their fathers may have also passed on them the rules of cheating and it may have been passed on through the generation. We hear about the cheating requirement for success in informal talk sessions.

today i visited ghost city = emirate city , complete stop of work in all projects especially sweethomes /rainbow 3 towers ,no single worker at the site , no construction since 3 months , i went to the new main office in deera met some employees who dont care about our problem and since SH asking me to pay arround 40k =10 000$ i decided to stop paying after i paied 55% for construction not more than 10% , i asked to return my postdated cheques and i closed my account , i maied letter to SH CEO including my request to stop paying until construction reach what has been paied and closing the account , stamped by the office as received , i will take copy to my bank , im ready for cancellation since it will save my rest money by which i can bay lux flant in my home country , i asked to push construction or do majour discount 25% ! or elongate payment plan till end of 2012 instead of 2011 , my question can they make big problem regarding PDC ur openion highly appreciated , i can go to ARRA to check but i dont trust them .

They can not make any problem for you, or at least i have not seen anyone suffering wit legal issues as they have not paid for stopped construction projects. I know atleast 10 people who did not pay since Jan 2008 and till today they have no problems, only irritation for them is that sweet homes continuesly requesting them to pay by email and threatening of canceling the contract. I also know some people who went and settle all the lapsed payment to sweet home when the some some progress in their towers. Though SWHome/ARRA are two sides of same coin, better to go to ARRA and put an official complaint there and get complaint number (if they have such system ) it may help you later if the SWHoem make the situation complicated for you.
though the situation is bad as you have seen, dont worry they will not escape, as they have invested major portion of investors money in different parts of the desert , they will make it live one after another , the only thing we dont know when we will get our units. Consider it as a stupid investment which even wise people come across for many reasons.
