has anyone got a refund from a developer yet

Dear Friends,
Has anyone been able to get money back form a developer yet as im afraid to take a case
as i might be wasting my money. I swapped to another company with an escrow account
but i may still sue my previous company if the law changes in the future

Hi Nassor,
I tried a lot of lawyers but they all wanted money upfront. They also said they
would get my money back so i asked them to confirm it by email and they said
they couldnt. I was handed an article yesterday that was in the National
last wednesday and it seems to be all the more confusing. It gave the land department
in Dubai more power and a llawyer commented in the article that lawyers will have to
change their strategies. That suggests to me that they are trying to look for ways to get
a win for an investor. However they will have to use someone elses money to test the new laws.
Also as it is in Dubai, it does not apply to Ajman. Im going to wait and see what happens.
The company i swapped to was Kings Group and i found them veryhelpful. They gave me a discount
for what i paid before as i had my receipts and my money is now safe.HoweverI will sue the other developer
but only when the laws are clearer.
