Progress SINCE JULY 2009:

B2 +1 FLOOR NOW ON G+4P+4th started
B3 +2 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+6th started
B4 +1 FLOOR NOW ON G+4P+8th completed
B5 +3 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+12th completed
B6 +2 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+9th completed
B7 +0 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+21st started
B8 +0 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+22nd completed
B9 +4 FLOORS NOW ON G+4P+14th completed

I would not call this 'break-neck speed" as sweet homes reported in a newspaper! but progress nonetheless except for B7+B8.
Lets see what they have to say for their next update.

Regards,
Paul

'Breakneck progress'

Paul, the + floors that you have shown were probably all built in July. Because I can't recall any progress since "6th floor started" at the end of August in B-3, for example. I suppose it is the same for the other towers, although I would like to be proved wrong. At any rate, this is no way they can finish so many towers each of which have to reach 25 floors in addition to G+$.

What progress !!!!

Guys
I grant you B3 has seen little progress but others have. If you cant see progress in the latest pics since those published in August then I must be looking at the wrong photos.

By comparison with their previous efforts the current progress is `break neck '.
For me any progress is good news. My understanding is that work has only re started after Ramadam when Sweethomes remembered to pay the builders.

Im not satisfied of course but what else can I do. I believe compensation claims are a waste of time and effort. All my efforts centre around encouraging sweethomes to crack on with the project and finish the job.

Dont laugh but I have just made my final payment.

Rog

Paradise L progress

Rog,
the confirmation from you (in addition to Paul's figures) that some towers in Paradise Lakes are making good progress is reassuring indeed, for I could only speak for B3's progress or its lack thereof. I suppose R Holding is focusing resources on a few towers at a time. From last December till July, B3 and a few other towers did make breakneck progress, especially considering the state of the other Emirates City towers. Clearly, they lacked experience in executing a project of this magnitude and also got their calculations wrong. We can only hope and pray that R Holding, Sweet Homes and other builders will somehow be able to access the necessary liquidity for executing their Emirates City and eventually Ajman Uptown projects in the not too distant future.

NEW DELIVERY DATE

Now that Dec 31 2009 delivery date is here, Sweet Homes and R-Holding will be proposing new Delivery Date for Paradise Lakes Twrs and it is going to be Sept 2010, Which again is not sufficient
enough to complete all building in Pradise Lakes ?? How many New Dates And how many broken promises ???

What new delivery date?

From where did you get this information that RH and SH are going to propose Sept 1010 as the new delivery date? Even if this sounds wildly unrealistic, at least setting such a date could help concentrate their minds on projection execution. As for Tower 6, it seems RH has stopped work at some towers to focus on others for the past three months. As long as they don't stop work altogether at PL, there is hope.

hi pual66

can you tell me how you are in uk and you get information from news paper in uae
it seems you are too close to sweethome
is there is any link to that paper
plz don't misunderstand me

What newspaper?? The above

What newspaper??

The above is my OWN comparison from the pictures from JULY 2009 compared to pictures in OCT 2009, this is my OWN analysis!

sweethomes and Rholding are

sweethomes and Rholding are doing some sort of marketing mimic with others money and they are not lossing anything but others are in heavy loss. Like the Becon contruction company (the Sub contractor for Sweethomes / R Holding) is in heavy loss as a payment of 26 million on hold. Becon where promissed to get 10 million by PDC and when they sumitted the chcek, found out that there is no money in the bank.

They have stopped the work in B7 & B8 since last july and today (03-11-2009) they have taken the Generator, crine, bricks, cement and all other material from the site giving and indication that the construction in B7 and B8 will not be starting soon, at present b7 is in 20th floor and B8 in 22nd since last july.

see what you wrote above

I would not call this 'break-neck speed" as sweet homes reported in------ --a newspaper ---

where is this news paper??????????????

Speed of progress (lack of)

B3 was at the same level end of Aug, early Sept - no progress since then.
6th floor typical was on their last newsletter - I'm sure of it!

is this break neck pace? more like broken arms!

not mocking (well sort of) but this situation has become dire for all investors, and there doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel - not yet anyway.

Can't wait to see the revised payment plans in Dec or will that be Jan or Feb, or maybe when they can be bothered to inform us - probably after 100+ emails and calls to them. That after sending us an email to say you have missed your completion payment for Dec 09!

Unlike some other investors, I have tried to remain positive even through the first half of the credit crunch, even paying July 09 but lack of info on various matters, all discussed over numerous posts/forums on this site have drained confidence.

With dreams like these...who needs nightmares!
