No mention of rescheduled payment plan though!

please mention the source of this information. So far R holding did not declare the new completion date, so i heared they are trying to propose a construction based payment plan with help of ARRA. Details are not available.

If you have read any posts I have made on here over the last two years you will know I am an investor (good and true) in what was the dream in Ajman.
Have lost the faith....well almost since beginning of this year.
Doesn't the image I carry (great win in the Merseyside derby on Sunday lads by the way- eh fellow res? ) show you I am UK based?
Invested in B3, fool that I am.
I received the email from the info@sweethomes.uae email mesaging service. Am logged on at home (its late) so will post it tomorrow from the office. Not sure if it will post the sweethomes logo (if you need that for verification!) but will do my best to copy the whole email, and not just the text like I did today.
Will post my reply to them too - like I always do - I am becoming quite sarcastic. Not too sure if that will benefit me in the long run, but hey it helps with the frustration of it all.
At the end of the day, we all invested in what we thought would be a dream/second home/second income, and we have been shafted (up to now anyway) by Sweethomes, R Holding, ARRA and the Ajman government. Thank God for this website. Without it we could not share info that keeps everything transparent.
I know there are some people who post to wind up the others,I can assure you I am not one of those.
Anyway, not needing to expain myself further its 11pm - tired and going to bed. C U all tomorrow Inshallah.

I think you forgot to add that you will not be taking any further payments until completion, especially as this is the third (or fourth) completion date I have received. Payments thereafter are to be staggered and not doubled to ridiculous amounts AED per payment just to get money off us quickly. Given the mess the UAE is in at the minute, you need to be VERY co-operative to us investors, VERY VERY co-operative.
In light of the email below, I expect a complete hold on payments until completion!
I would like that in writing too.

don't worry about it. I have seen lots of shoddy posts on here in my time so I can understand the raised eyebrows.
My take on it is that given the UAE situation (not just Dubai), and R-Holding's track record on a/construction b/telling the truth coupled with Sweethomes ineffective way of telling us anything whatsoever, Dec 2010 will be here and we will still be asking the same questions. Infrastructure, sewage, lighting, water, power, roads oh yes and built apartments!
I wouldn't be surprised if we are looking at 2011 - 2012. Unless something amazing happens - like people actually turn up on site on a regular basis.
Lets just try to keep the faith that one day, one day we will have a built Emirates City - it will be a long while yet me thinks :(

Positive update on B7 & B8
If anyone has any further news or pictures for this please post them here or message me so we can all share on this forum. This was posted by Nikee, who saw plenty activity at the B7+B8 towers...

"24-11-09 - I visited the site as usual and found that the work on both buildings are started 2,3 days back and it going on with 35 to 40 people in each buildings and i could see a lot of building materials like cement, bricks, tiles, metal frames.....etc brought in to site. Generator is at the site (all including rest of material were taken to Becon's strore last time). Seems this time its not a jok they will top up these two buildings by completing another 6 floors in b7 and 4 floors in b8 hopefully. Still it will take time to finish internal works and electricity & Water ...etc...minimum 1 year or 2.
Besides these two building B3, B4,B6 shows some progress and B5 very good progress. C1 to C5 excelent in terms of structure (i did not look at the internal work)
All others including GoldCrust Dreams no progres at all."

As i know from a person who knows the whereabouts (Financial dealings ) Becon has received only a very small amount when considering the total due amount. But still the construction still continue for 3 weeks now.

from a personal point of view - B3 has risen 1 floor since Aug 31st. It's been 3 months. Hardly what I would call progress.
Still I guess I should be grateful it has grown at all!
Paradise Lake towers
Can any owners of Paradise Lake towers vouch for construction progress in the October-November 2009 period? Since my tower, B3, has shown no rise at all since August, I am in no position to judge. On a visit to the site a few days ago, I couldn't make it to the Paradise Lake towers side as it was already too dark. However, the towers on the side adjoining Emirates Road seemed to be all at least structurally complete. Has there been any work on the lake or other infrastructure? What do you guys think the game plan of R Holding is vis-a-vis Paradise Lakes - deliver all the towers together by end of 2010 as promised, or keep pushing the deadline further and further behind?

I dont think there was any work going on here for the past 6 months, and from what we here, there seems to be building materials and labourers back on site again. Lets hope they stay to complete the buildings this time.
