I request the members of this forum which have the investment with Emirates city project... let conduct the most awaited second meeting in Dubai any suitable place ( Dubai mall, Food court ) or at "Ajman Emirates city site"
Day - Friday , 28 Novemeber 2008
Time - 4:30 PM (if its in Dubai Mall) OR 3:00 PM ( in case we are meeting at Emirates city site, as day light is available only up to 5:30 PM )
Confirm the vanue / Time and avability ( We will select the venue / day and time with democartic way) please post under this forum -

I Request to ADMIN to develop some system for it if possible.

thanks for such a supportive attitude. its good to plan a meeting but its useful only for u.a.e. residence or those who are visiting there at the time of meeting.
overseas investors, must make a room and some time chat online..because they can not attend this type of meeting.. can we have a chat room here?

Dear Friend,
1. A face to face meeting is for more familiarity and making a serious decision. Also it can affect on developers.
2. In chatting system, The conversations have a short life. Many people can't contribute on it. But within discussion board like our forum, All topics save foever and many people can contribute at any time. The members can think and then reply. The quality of dicussions is higher.
I think abroad members can have a face to face meeting in their cities like London, Islam Abad, Tehran etc.

Rose Tower
It is really disturbing to hear all the negative news about EC. I called REIE and as usual General Manager was not available but his Secretary tried to assure me that work will commence on Rose Tower very soon as they have signed a new contract with a Contractor and she said she does not know the name of the Contractor (what a joke!!!!!).
I must appreciate all those who are taking a real positive approach in raising this issue for the benefit of all EC residents. Since I am not in UAE I am unable to attend this meeting but wish all the attendees the very best in solving this fearsome episode. Collectively I hope we can achieve some feedback from the Master Developers.

Since I am not In UAE consider my self in what ever heppens in this meeting please update me since I am away from UAE dwarish your contribution is highly regarded from me as you always give me usefull updates kindly let me know is it true that R holding is gone bankrupt ? or R holding is in crisis and is it true the construction in EC is stopped?

I really don't know the actual reality of financial condition of R-Holding, but till now they are paying to contractor / the staff salary being paid and no job cut so how we can assume that institution like R-Holding is heading towards bankrupt, even I haven't heard any institution bankrupt in UAE, for example Emmar share price was AED 29/- in the year 2006.... Today its AED 2.74, remenber Emmar is backed by Dubai govt. and very big and very first player of Dubai real estate, but no negative news till now.
As I requested all the members of EC who are staying in UAE can spare their valuable time and share their views face to face, I have notice apart of Mr. Arshad no one shown the intrest to join the meeting.
Lest see once our Admin launch meeting planner... hope number of member will agree to join this meeting.

Its looks that local members of EC comunity are not willing for the meeting after 4 days and 300 + reads we found only two mambers are ready for this meeting.
If by today evening, we will not able to have minimum 25 mambers ready for this meet, we have to cancel this meeting.
Remember we are having 290 mambers based in UAE.

Meeting in Abu Dhabi
Gentlemen,
After a meeting in Dubai, we can arrange a meeting in other places in UAE, especially Abu Dhabi. This would mobilize more investors to participate and think about the future of Emirates City construction. These local meetings can forward the outcome of their discussion to others. Finally a meeting in Dubai can sum up the ideas to the respective developers. We need a strong partnership between the investors, developers, contractors and new buyers.

I think its a better idea...
Because the last meeting on Friday 28th November was a wast of time, "At least for me and 2 other Yemeni gentlemen :( ". We were there at EC site enterance from 3pm to 4pm but no one came and.....
Everyone should realize that these meetings, petitions or other activities are only for our interest...!!!

I think the last meeting was not confirmed. If you review the above comments, You can see that Dwarish suggest some time and venue for the meeting but no one was confirmed by members. Also, Our forum was hacked in the end of last week and so the members can't be sure about the meeting.
I think if you announce this meeting one week before the time of meeting (12 Dec), We can gather many investors in the venue. This event can have a good affect.
I support you by sending an inviting letter to all members.
But first of all you should discuss about the subjects which can be discussed about them in the meeting. We are looking to an effective result for all not just a simple meeting without any result.
So, Let's to define the aims of meeting and discussing issues and then define a meeting in http://groups.wadionline.com
