Lavender D01 - Progress chart 21 May 2010

R Holding promising completion is August 2011, but chart indicates not before May 2012.

Its 9 months delay then R Holding revised date, but it won't effect the health of R Holding as they only need money and not completion of the project.

Projecting false information to grab more and more money from the investors.

Chart indicates almost 1 year further delay from their own projected completion date.

Today I am not hopeful for any completion before May 2012 or further delay.

I totally agree with you. No

I totally agree with you. No one with the slightest business sense should continue to pump money into any project in Emirates City. Go for a ready flat with electricity and water connections and you still have it for less.
I calculated: In Horizon towers you pay 250 dhs/sqf in resale. My flat in EC was 400 dhs/sqf. For 830 sqf my price with parking was about 356 000 dhs. If I'd buy today the same size flat in Horizon tower including parking, I'd pay 207 500 dhs. If I add the lost 108 000 dhs I have paid so far in my EC project, I'd still had only paid 315 500 dhs. This is 41 000 dhs less than the EC flat, which might never get build. So clearly: there is no reason to go on with the Ec project unless they'd lower the price considerably.

The way I see it is that this will never ben completed, the slow pace f construction is just to attract more money from the investors. They already know that th infracture is not in place and will not be place for a very long time and they have this execuse not to handover as promised.
At the end of the day, it is the sheikhs son who owns it, so ARRA or any other agency including the law/courts are in their side and will not do justice to the investors.
The prices have gone down, I would never pay them any more, in fact I would never invest in ajman any more but those of you who still want to invest, go for the ready apartment (around AED200-250 sq. ft) which would pretty much be the balance amount you might have to pay for the apartment you booked in Lavender.
This is just my though process, certainly others can have a different opinion. It is up to the investors to decide for himself.
