LakeView Real Estate: Time to fight back. Need your support.
Dear Friends,
I have been an investor with LV for about a year now. More specifically LV5. To make things worse, I own a a whole Floor.
I just received a tip from one of my agents that they have decided not to build LV 4 and 5. Yes, my dear friends. They have cancelled it but i dont think they will tell their investors, as people are still making payments.
Your concerns are genuine and i believe this company is running a scam operation by taking money from its investors with no intention of building the towers. You are absolutely right when you say they dont return calls, and the senior management is always no where to be found. I believe Mr. Aman Qureshi has already run away as he is never in the office. We really need to do something about this.
I just talked to someone at ARRA, and his exact words were "To tell you the truth, We are having a lot of problems with this company". Apparently, they have not submitted all the documents for them to be approved, and no escrow account is being given to them right now. Not till all the documents have been submitted. He also insisted that i come visit the ARRA office. I dont live in dubai, so its not that easy for me to just visit ARRA. However, i am reaching Dubai on the 1st of June 2009, and definately visit LV and ARRA a day or two after i arrive. You are more than welcome to join me. Actually I insisit that you do.
I am hoping to meet some or all of you, if time permits and if you are okay with it. I really think we should get together and do something about this. i have invested a considerable amount of money with LV and frankly i would very much like to get it back.
I have also heard that some people have filed an official complaint regarding LV as people are very concerned at this point.
I will only be in town for a week, and thats my sole purpose of the trip .. to do something concrete about this issue. When i say do something concrete, i mean file an official complaint, consult lawyers & other investors.

Dont believe anything LV tells you. Theyre bunch of liars. i have been dealing with them for over a year, and everything they say is just a way of delaying things.
I will be in Dubai from June 1st - June 9th. I am planning on arranging a meet on the 3rd. So whos with me?

Its true. Aman Qureshi and his wife.. Zulekha (Sales Director) have been blacklisted... The police wants them.. the case has now gone to CID. Glad to know theyre still around...
The police have already gone to the LV office.. and talked to the current LV manager.. Mr. Sohail.. they have also taken Sohails passport so he doesnt run away.
I am also going to be filing a complaint with the police. Im getting the documents ready... I need more people to join me in this...

I have obtained quotes from dubai lawyers. The cheapest quote is 25,000 AED.
court fees?
this may be charges for lawyer, i heard court fees also 30k, plus expenses of translation etc. may be total 35k is it truth?
Filing a complaint
Ok.. a complaint is different that a law suit.
A law suit will be dubai court based.. whereas the complaint is with the police.
Filing a complaint is not very expensive, but does require a couple of small expenses..
1. You need a complaint letter.. you have to either write it in arabic, or write on in english and get it translated.
2. you need to tranlsate all your documents (contract, booking form receipts) into legal arabic. The approx fee for this is about AED 100 per page.
3. You need a letter from ARRA saying that lakeview has not fulfilled it requirements to be an approved developer ... (BUT!... This letter has already been provided by another person so the police isnt looking for this anymore)
You then need to take these documents to the police station. There is a specific station that you need to go to.. I can find out tomorrow.
After the police goes through the documents, they will take your case, and assign it a case number... and thats it.
There may be other fees associated with this... but theyre nominal... I really would like to get more people on board. My documents are already getting translated, and i will be filing the complaint on monday or tuesday.

an apartment or a floor doesn't make a difference.The question is what is the builder doing ? what r his intentions?Today what lake view investors are doing is the right step we cann't sit quitely after paying nearly 50% money and why should we.we all investors r pals of each other (doesn't matterwhich tower).we r together just like how the developers are.so all the best to the ones taking a bold step.we all need to deal in same way with our respective developers.

Please note that this account is shared by 4 people and differnt people log on to this. Mr. Nasir is one of the users of this account and he has only posted 2 enteries so far. The rest were done by other investors. We receive an average of 30-50 messages a day on this forum and it is impossible for one person to go through this, so the responsibility is shared. Same goes for the lakeviewscam email address. Everything is shared as it is not easy for one person to manage the blog, the email, and this forum. It used to be one person, but for the last week and a half, this has been a combined effort.
To update all of you, We have received over a hundred email contacts already regarding Lakeview from investors all over the world and they are all very concerned about their investments. They appreciate what we are doing, and insha Allah we will stick to it till there is an outcome... hopefully in our favor.
About Mr. Nasir's number being on the forum post. He coordinated the meeting, so it was his number on the invitation. He wanted to help out and took the responsibility of arranging a meeting, and you did not appreciate that. Mr. Nasir was in meetings all day for his business, and he could not take calls anymore, so I removed his number from the post. I would also suggest you remove his mobile number from the posts you have made. You would not appreciate your number being posted on the internet, and i dont think he would appreciate it either.
Indian, Raj and Destiny. I would suggest that you stop being a bunch of smart asses and mind your own business. You all dont seem too concerned about what Lakeview is doing to the investors. It is impossible for an investor not to be worried about their investment, and you are not worried about it. I think you all work for LV in some way , form or manner; which makes you liable for the things LV is doing.

Well, it was impossible for you to meet Mr. Nasir at the lakeview office on the 25th, as he arrived later in the week. You are obviously talking about someone else. So please keep your ramblings to yourself. Get your facts straight and take some medicine for your verbal diarrhea (this goes for indiantiger and destiny as well)
