Emirates City Forum

I've just returned from my holiday in Dubai. Whilst there I met with my developer of Fortune Residency C1 and visited the Emirates City site in Ajman.
I travelled by bus through Sharjah then took another bus to Ajman using the northern coastal road. Ajman is not that well developed, apart from the new buildings in the Cornice area. I took a taxi to Emirates City. There I walked through most of the site.
I explained to the security guy that I was a buyer and wanted to take a look inside. I was taken up in a service lift in tower C4 Orbit to the 1 st floor, we then walked across wooden bridges between the parking levels some 50 ft up to tower C1.
Tower C1 was the first to reach full height. The internal walls have been installed with a cement covering and a white wash. First fix electrics have gone in as well as air conditioning ducting. The ceilings have not been installed and the final floor cement has not been laid. Bathroom plumbing is in. For what ever reason the tiling has been done in bathrooms and toilets. If you have seen pictures of the tiling, it is not in one sample room but has been done in many flats. One "test" window has been installed. I was shown around by the foreman who was proud that he delivered his building to full height first- good man. He estimated 6-8 more months to complete the work. When I was ready to leave I was shown down using the stairway,- I don't know why we used those scary service lifts. We went up to the 6th floor.
I took a walk around 3/4 of the E.C. site and made notes on which sites there were workers and work being done I will post this soon.
