I HAVE VISITED EMIRATESCITY AJMAN IN NOVEMBER THE 5TH,THE FIRST TWO ROWS FROM THE MAIN EMIRATESCITY ROAD IS NEARLY COMPLETED,BUT I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE SOME WORK GOING ON FOR TWO TOWERS,I WENT TO THE OFFICE OF THE CONTACTOR WHO WAS IN CHARGE,AND TOLD ME GOOD NEWS,HE TOLD ME THE FIRST TWO TOWERS IN EMIRATES CITY WILL FINISH AND HANDOVER JULY AND OCTOBER 20212,THE R HOLDING(AJMAN SHEIKH/KING) PROJECTS WILL BE FIRST TO FINISH,IF THE REST OF THE PROJECTS WITH ESCROW ACCOUNT DO NOT FOLLOW,THEIR ASSETS WILL BE TRANSFERED TO R HOLDING AND THEY WILL BUILD THE REST,BUT PROJECTS WHO DO NOT HAVE ESCROW ACCOUNT AND NOT REGISTERED WITH ARRA,THERE IS BIG QUESTION MARK FOR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.I COULD BE WRONG BUT THAT IS ALL THE INFORMATION I GOT DURING MY SHORT STAY IN DUBAI

I agree with Josau, only time will tell if the towers are really built, handed over and suitable to live. I have my doubts that in near future (till end 2014), this will not happen

Thank you, MA Hassan, for sharing your impressions of Emirates City after your recent visit. What are the first two towers that you are referring to, that will get finished in July and October? Did the people there mention anything about the interconnecting lanes between the towers, power supply, sewerage line etc?

Even though two tower will be completed which I have very serious dought since i have seen them as it is since long time.
Only Camel goona live there and pay heavy amount, without any facility with genaror electricity and maintenance charges.
in the end only developer gonna win.
But i dont think so any developer will dare to complete atleast before 2015 that is still doubt.

Dear MA Hassan:
Is the part of Emirates Road leading immediately to Emirates City being widened? Do you think developments along Emirates Road will prompt some people to rent apartments in Emirates City, or does the project still look like a forlorn development in the middle of the Arabian desert? Also, did you any tower having reached the stage of outside painting?

If you look at unfinished developments in Dubai, even as close to the action as Business Bay, even if your building is up and running, you will have construction and inconvenience going on for years to come. Of course at a ridiculous price someone would rent there, but will it ever cover the costs of maintenance? I bet lots of landlords won't pay maintenance and the building will be run down before you know it.

Actually, it doesn't make a difference. The dream of Emirates City is OVER. Even if all buildings are finished, look at the real estate situation in Ajman. In the downtown of Ajman, no more demand! prices are down! Nobody wants property in Ajman, that is the end of the story so let's not give people any illusions about Emirates City. Keep your money and don't give it to developers or to the master developer. You will lose everything>

FORGET ABOUT YOUR PROJECT.DON'T PAY A PENNY MORE TO THIS GUYS
I STILL HAVE TO PAY 308.000 FOR ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT AND GUYS, ONE BEDROOM APARTMENTS WE CAN FIND IN AJMAN FOR 185.000, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I CAN BUY TWO WITH THE REMAINING AMOUNT.
WITH MARKET PRICE,I HAVE ALLREADY PAID MY APARTMENT,LOL
