Mr. Abu Bakr phoned me today and we had a meeting with him but not in albatha real estate’s office, it was in the R-Holding office !!!!!!!!!
R-Holding is the Master Developer of the emirates city and owned by his highness the governor of Ajman, but …
He also has a private real estate office called Charlestates (The Representative of R Holding), and they offered us a new swapping NOT WITH ALMASA GROUP, but now to one of 3 or 4 towers that’s have active construction progress, but again …
I bought my unit at 332 dhs/sq ft, and they will consider my old payments in the new contract deducting this amount from the NEW unit price that they want us to swap for with a new price of 450 dhs / sq ft
That’s mean to pay an extra amount of about 100,000 dhs !!! Then u will complete the amount by paying from 5 to 10 % in the first and the left in 4 years.
Or u have the choice to stay as u r and maybe they will solve the problem with the owner of C R (the Iraqi person) who is in the Jail right now in few weeks, but nothing promised.

In the end, please remember that we are a private company, and not the Government. We are offering a third kind of solutions to those that are willing to continue in the Ajman investment opportunity they have once started. We are not offering anything for free; it’s just an opportunity to get out of the situation you are in and into owning a unit in a tower under construction by R Holding.

I paid 650 per sq ft and it was in or around the market rate. i would doubt if a guy could build at that rate
when you purchased and its possibly why he ran away with your money. I dont think i will be on for taking the offer
they made you as i cam across two other companies who will discount what i paid already, within reason, and
offer me a new unit

I paid 362 aed sq.ft. and that was the high end going price in 2007. Prior to that prices were cheaper. From 2008 prices started to rise dramatically. At the time I checked with the developer, who assured me the tower could be built at my price, without compromising quality, but with a lower profit margin for them. Now the prices of basic building materials have gone down, so it should still be possible to build at our old prices.
I also can confirm that prices for some towers in Ajman were around 250 aed or less in Dec.'09

Dear friends,
R holding is the failure developer, there is no progress since last six months on their Lavender and Lilies tower, is you swap your unit they may ask to pay them 10-20%, down payment trust me that money will be going to pay their inefficient staff salaries and nothing will going to build at Emirates city.
Please note its not negativity but truth of R holding, ask them why they are not building six months and what is the assurance they will build for you in specified time.
They promised 1500 investors of lilies and lavender towers that they will hand over the project by mid of 2009. we are at mid of 2010 and they haven't completed even 20% of the project.
Its the true face of R Holding = Liars and Cheaters
