How long should we wait ??
I have been visitng this forum since I discovered that I have been chested and my all money has gone . Whenever I call ETA STAR same standard reply . I have invested in GCD 2 in 2008 and going by the piece of information I have recieved from one of my friend, ETS STAR was successful in collecting 92 mn dhs from GCD 2 tower alone .So for the 4 towers they are building in Emirates City total comes to half a billion dhs approx. (..they are still trying to get some more money from few investors...) DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO PAY BACK THAT ALL MONEY by end of 2012 or whenever they cancell this project ??? NO WAY even if you put a legal case against them . They can easily get away by saying they are bankrupt.
AJMAN Govt, RERA will never do anything becuase they too get huge share .And to be frank i do not have any money left to spare on this dream.Already have lost good money in running after lawyers and rera ,,,just a money making game . I would be frank with you I HAVE GIVEN UP.
What are you waiting for?
This is just my feeling, emirates city might never be built like the original plan and might not be a place where people can have a decent living...
So the question is what are you waiting for?
As for me, I am looking for refund of my investment as th developer has not fullfilled his side of the contract by handing over a decent unit where I can live within the contractual delivery date as promised. (Refund of my own money (investment) also seems like a dream to me with the passage of time as I have all my savings in GCD project - Tower B)

What refund? You have never made any payment .Investment.What investment.This is what they are saying.
They are thieves,robbers,scoundrels,ali baba.You will never get any money from these foreigns developers.They are running away with our money to Pakistan.India.Afghanistan,Egypt etc etc.What can you do.Emiratees cannot give a damn about us foolish investors in Ajman.Now you know never do any dealings with them esp.UAE. Dubai and Ajman and so on.Keep well away and spread the news.

Dear Abdool, I totally agree with you, the fraudesters have taken our money and are on their way back right in front of the rulers of Ajman who were supposed to protect the investors.
Our investment is gone, chances of refund are very slim but save what you have and do not pay any more as developers with ARRA have come up with a plan to get the last bit of the investors money who are desperate to save their investment...

I am new to this forum however I keep reading all the comments here. The people like you and me have lost their whole life savings and are crying for their dreams. The follow up with ARRA is useless and litigation is fruitless. Is there any other solution we can advise them to compensate this huge investors community who are stuck with this mess.
