Its Good idea, and can not thrashed, for this initiative following steps to be followed -

1. List out all UAE based members
2. List out all Dubai / SHJ / AJMAN / ABUDHABI members
3. All location wise members can meet at suitable public place
4. Make the represanatative area wise
5. Let all area represanatativies can held get-to-gether
6. Visit the site on suitable time
7. Update all the members of their area
8. Collect feed back and query from area mamber
9. discuss this query / feed back among represantativies

If we put these all activities in tabuler forms its like an organisation

I understand that making an organisation or act as a group may give some kind of legal obligation but we are not fighting or even before present in frot of R Holding or any developer we are just meeting and share our experience, thats all

The answer to that question lies in the hands of those amongnst us who do reside in UAE. However, we still need the support of those who reside outside UAE as well. Each can have a role to play. What we can do also depends on what each individual can provide and the skills of each one of us. We need several skills: Legal, engineering, negociation, just to name a few and we also need to know the connections that the individuals do have to parties of interest like R-Holding, developers, consultant, and contractors. The goal is basically to assemble all of the skills for us to start a program of influencing the way the project is heading. I know that R-Holding do not have people with managing skills for such a project and if we can start a communication channel with them there are lots of things that we can improve in lots of areas, including quality of construction, handing over, owners rights and others.

What I do propose is that we select a day, a time, and a place where those who live in the UAE can meet. We get together to know how each can help by assessing the skills that we can assemble as well as the time that each can provide and we take it from there.

First of all thanks God for having this virtual community (Forum). :) :)
Then thanks 1) musema for ignite this idea 2) dwarish who adds the valuable images and cooperate in this idea actively 3) djamel05 who is our knowledgeable and experienced friend who help us in all ideas 4) yusuf who is very active in this website and is pioneer in all ideas and 5) all other UAE resident memebrs who cooperate in this idea. :)
Unfortunately i can't contribute in this idea because i'm not in UAE.
But let me to offer some points:
1. Yes we have 152 members but most of them are not active. If you look to the polls, We don't have more than 30 votes. Or if you analyse the discussions they don't cotribute in the discussion more than this no. of members. Some of them don't have any unit in the Emirates City. :? :?
2. You should notice that the UAE don't have a democratic government. Many of big real estate companies are dependent to government. In the other side we don't want to have fight with developers. It's a very dangarous issue. We shouldn't show ourselves a dangorous people. We should show them that we follow a close cooperation with developers to keep mutual rights. }:) }:)

and regarding to the meeting:
1. Before your meeting, Please specify the issues you want to discuss about in the meeting. I think djamel05 can help us in this field.
2. Please declare readiness all who wants to go to the meeting.

I appreciate you for your kindness. :)
1. Indeed, When i saw the past website, skyscrapercity.com - I understood some points: The website is on base of vbulletin that is not powerfull for a forum like a forum of owners. So, because i have a little experience in website designing (Although i'm an Indstrial Engineer), when i saw the suggestion of one of friends (i think who was parham :? ), I decided to launch this website.
2. My purpose was not to have a special position among owners of Emirates City. As you have seen, I try to don't enter to the discussions. Just i want the owners of Emirates City have a place for discussion about projects, sharing pictures of progress (if you could remember, The pages which had images was very slow and low quality in skyscrapercity.com), Especially for the friends who live abroad. You should know how much a news and an image from the Emirates City is valuable for the non-resident buyers.
In the other side, Existing of a virtual community for Emirates City can make a privilege in comparison with other districts for investing and can be preferd to other places.
I hope The God accept this work too, Ensha Allah.

3. When i saw that our friends have some problems with the developers (delay in sending the contract, delay in begining the work on plot, The quality of projects etc), I thaught we should do a work. We can't put ourselves in opposite of developers (qeshmi said something about it). Although we don't have this purpose, When we say just one sentence to developers, They resist. This record can be a negative point for investment in this district of Ajman. In the other side, (as our friend djamel05 said) We don't do anything that have a risk to the future of Emirates City and sorround, This district of Ajman can have a good future. Even they want to filter our website (as qeshmi said)
So, I thaught we can press to developers with the face of a real estate company (on behalf of clients). It was a very good idea. Then i offered a suggestion for establish a company (As you know, It's WADI STAR), Manyof friends have cooperation in it. In this company we can have a structure for following the rights of owners perfectly. Also, It can offer projects to buyers in a good package that you can not find it in the other place. Although it can be a profit source for every one who would like to cooperate in it.

4. Indeed the owners and managers of this website are all members, You are who add content to this website and moderate it by Editorial Board. I'm just responsible about the website not the community.
The power of this community is on base of you.
Our friends djamel05 and dwarish can help us very much. I hope till next week, Other friends announce their readiness to come to your meeting and this meeting wil be the start of better coopeation among Emirates City Owners.
Dear I 2 Ajman, What can i do in this field is inviting all resident friends to this meeting. Please pay attention to this event. It's an important event about Emirates City. It can keep the rights of all friends, Ensha Allah.
5. I know sometimes this website is not accessible for some minutes, As i promised in the last month, I hire another space for moving this website to that place, Ensha Allah, I will move it to that place in the future.
6. Recently i thaught some of our friends in this website have properties in Dubai, Then i launched mydubaiproperties.com . But i was wrong, As you see that website have just 5 members. Also i want to launch a comprehensive website of news aggregator like Google News for UAE. Ensha Allah, I will do it.
I'm ready to do anything for raising the position of Emirates City in the Cyber Space.

Now when i see this website after 3 months - Your friendly cooperations - I enjoy very very much. Thanks God.

It sounds really great that our friends who r residing in UAE are very active and playing their role to make the emirates city a hall mark.
If i had been in UAE , i definately would have been there to meet the friends like all of u. but i am livig out of UAE so i have to wait till 2010 and inshallah one day i will have a pleasure to meet u all in emirates city. my best wishes for all of the friends and i really appreciate ur efforts to help each other.

Thanks for your suggestion!
1. At present we can't filter the UAE residents and send to the a e-letter. Just It's possible to send all an Inviatation and invite the recipient if he/she is in UAE.
2. Please prepare a invitation letter and send me by 'contact us'. I prepare the system for this work.
3. Unfortunately when we send emails in bulk, The mail server recognizes us as spamer and move the newsletter to spam/bulk forder of Mailbox. I will try to send the emails in some stages to decrease the prabability of spam recognition.

I sent the Invitation letter to all friends two times. The first one was non-html but the second letter was with HTML format. Although it had a small error in logo.
The system sent all emails in 7 stages, every stage to max. 20 recipients. So, The mail servers like yahoo or Gmail didn't had label it as spam.
It was the first Mass mail i sent in this website. Ensha Allah in the future, We can send e-letter without error.

1. You should notice that you are representative of all owners of Emirates City (maybe who are member of this website or not). So, Please respect the rights of all.
Many of our friends who are not in UAE liked very much to contribute in the meeting, but ...
2. As i said we need to someone who report about discussions of the meeting in this website.
Some of the friends (who replied to our Invitation) like to see the images of meeting. It's related to the members who want to attend in the meeting. Maybe they don't like to be familiar for all. Also it can be a reason for not coming to the meeting. So, It's not possible.
3. We are waiting for the idea of all members who contribute in the meeting about the chairman, The meeting needs to someone who chairs the session. So, If there is any idea, Please announce it. Maybe any one is vlunteer for it, We say welcome to him/her. it should be specified till friday.
