i have recived a email from chapal world on payment due ... i have made my last payment in jan 2009 . after that i stoped all the payments. today i have recived a email saying final notice on payment due. the total balance paymnet is 90 thousan plus . pay within 1 month of time or your reservation will be cancelled and the amount you paid untill now will be fortified . untill now i have paid upto 46% . and i have submitted a letter saying that i am not going to pay another 1 year untill i see a real progress in construction.. how can we pay to them in last 2 yrs they havent done much .. the construction progress in less then 20% and they are asking us to pay more . when i called their office they told me that they got insturuction from arra to make the due payments.. as i have considered not to make any payment untill we get sum real responce to our problems on visa , electricity. infrastructure. water . and completion date. . dear frnd pls mention your views.

Reply to their e-mail that you need compensations on delay and also ask them to send a new contract with construction related payment plan tell them to complete 50% of construction and then ask for further payment also ask them about their promise of visa the reason you book this flat CC to ARRA that e-mail also ask them to send you the copy of the Instruction from ARRA at the movement one should not pay at all

to all those invested in emirates city . now the truth is we are trapped . there is no way out . either to go head or to turn back . as the developer asking for payments and we are very scared to make any payment there is no trust on developer or arra . so called as a master developer r-holdings . we havent recived any updates or any news in the printed media. all i can say there is noboday taking any responsibility. i just do not understand why they are asking us to pay . when the development on the ground is unacceptable nd no sign of promised infrastructure. as most of us buy the apartment for the sake of residence visa . now we understand that we are not going to get it . so having a property in this country and you dont have visa to enter or to live here is unbeliveble. without visa nd electricity nd water nd sevege. infrastructure how one can stay in the desert. as me all of you thought of good living with your family in emiratescity but we were wrong. it was a day dream . the best thing is to do is just do not pay anything . what we have paid imagine that is gone . as i feel if we go head we will have more problems...that is for sure .as i understand most of us paid upto 40% or more , we cant get the money back . if your willing to go head then ask the developer for new agreement with construction based payment plan. and answere our concerns on residence visa , electricity, infrastructure. all this
Do NOT pay
It is up to you, but think of it logically and don,t allow anybody to threaten you. Write back to them with cc to ARRA. Tell them that you have paid 46% and the whole idea now is to have construction linked payments. Even if they have ESCROW account, this doesn't mean that you pay 50 and 60% while they are not at the same stage of construction. NO CONSTRUCTION, then NO PAYMENT. These people will get your money and will have no mercy for you.

Do not simply wait for these crooks - do something about them. Write to ARRA, challenge them with strong worded letters, etc. If they willing to steal your hard earned money (by simply Forfeiting ) then they capable of doing more nasty things to you and others. THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THEIVES AND CROOKS IN LAWLESS LAND.

I recieved the same email that to pay in 30 days or else the money is eaten . I dont understand what is the purpose of ARRA and the ruler of Ajman , when they are not helping the people (the investors) . I doubt that anyone will ever be able to trust UAE or anyother countries.
We say that religion is bad and that country is bad . But when muslims are suppose to an example . I think there are more laws against this kind of people in USA AND UK . But if it stays like this , people will move there money and leave UAE.
I think the best thing is to wait and see there progress . They cannot cancel anything , who buy there shit . I regret getting into this now the ready apartments in dubai are going cheaper than the price I paid for this.
Does anyone has any idea when will they have water and electricity . Because without electricity and water they cannot give us the possesion . The samething happened in International City in Dubai.
