But I just wanted to bring this to your notice that somehow in the following piece of news Al Barakah company admits that the story of the fate of Residence Visa we had already heard about it was not just a gossip.
"The decision of not issuing visas to property owners in Ajman and the downturn in the world economy, which led to the resultant slide in the property market, are the prime reasond for our inability to honour certain commitments made by us to our investors," said Tariq Minhaj, a spokesman for the company.

it was a long ago
Resident visa was gone a long ago, only some very very optimistic friends were expecting some impossible development despite they have shown their clear intention and taken visa back only after they booked lots of apartment in Cityscape dubai.
now we must be used to thie type of moves in near future too. as they will be unable to provide electricity and other infrastructure at due completion dates, so they will try to distrub the whole progress by some more moves, we should get ready for this..
Goodbye Residence Visa!
still early to say anything about the residence visa , law in the UAE changing every day:)
we will see in 2010 when maybe the first tower ready at the Emirates City.
