First Project to be completed in EC

Please comment on the following.
- When do we expect first building in EC to be completed.
- When the first family be expected to be shifted to EC.
- How many buildings are expected to be completed/handed over by Dec, 2010.
- Can you please make a table of buildings/active projects with the latest stage/floor of construction.

Do you know whats happening about the developers for lake view towers?(The Lake View Real estate) Is it going ahead or not?

Developer want to make more profit ....
All comodity prices are much cheaper now plus AED is fixed with US$, also contractors are much cheaper than before. All that create another room for more profit to developer.
Also new rule for RERA and custody account for each indvidual project will protect further payments from investor subscribtions.

My initial prediction was Goldcrest 1, but due to their delays, it will now be Paradise Lakes Towers B7 and B8.
Although towers may be ready, people will not be moving into them until End of 2010 due to the lack of infrastructure.

Paradise Lakes B7 and B8 will be completed end of this year or very early next year according to my friend who is the building foreman for both these constructions, both buildings structure is already up to 18th residential floor (out of 25).
if anyone needs any info/updates on these building let me know.

Yes paul, can you shed some light on the infrastructure issue. Where will these towers get the electricity from, what about the promised lakes, are these lakes comming along? what about the sewerage and water?
I heard not much progress happened on the infrastructure, do you know anything about this?

infrastructure in Emirates City...
As the Malaysian power plant project has been delayed by a year, towers which will be built prior to this will be run on generators by R-Holdings - the main developer. Water and Sewage systems (sceptic tanks) will be in place next year. The Lake in emirates city will be the last to be filled after all the building and infrastructure works have been completed, however the contstruction of the lake is currently undergoing and will be ready next year.

Be sure that in 2011 , we will see some falmily which move to towers as there are several towers in row B and C which is in good progress and it will be completed soon.
Is there any one here who knows that how many towers came up from ground till now?
