Emirate City Investors Group ECIG

dear musafir , i have properties with other developers some facing problems like dubai lagoon with schon , after 2 years delay behind handover day we selected 5 members group of people based in dubai to represent investors interests and after graet pressure contributed by many investors we succeded to meet marwan head of rera who start pressing on the crook developer - schon ,now we are in negotiation stage for exact % discount and work restarted etc....., emirate city need same such group to represent investors of all the project to meet officials from ajman gov to make things clear about what project will be cancelled and what possibilities to swap investors to cancelled projects without charging people for this , also discuss role of ajman authorities regarding infrastructure issues , now im in negoti. with sweethomes for fair payment linked construct. plan but still this single man action if larger group it will be more effective , we can collect our efforts even if we are under different developers , we have to accept majoiur change in EC plan include removing towers unlikely to survive and reducing numbers of floors ,etc... im a doctor so im not profficinal in engineering so any openion highly appreciated to save our money

brothers time against us as

brothers time against us as with developers , we need to arrange meeting for investors of all EC espically those in uae - dubai , bec all projects ar struggling even those reached nearly 30 floors , these investments are at high risk without involving r-holding which belong to ruler family of ajman , i think they are in trouble too bec what investments they have ? no oil ,no industery but property marketing in their desert , we must realise that our money went into deep hole , refund with present laws is just a day dream ,so people with projects unlikely to survive especially A- row they must ask cancelling these projects and ask swap to other established projects without extra charges , the selected group must show itself as legal body to start discussions with r- holding and if no response to ARRA ,we must discuss the issue of infrastructure which is the responsibility of ajman gov and the master developer of EC bec without this we can not pay single dirhm more even if i got very fair payment linked construction plan , the developer like sweethomes can not assure the finishing of infrastructure at time of handover , so what future for such investment , i live in alain / abudhabi and i work as surgeon busy all the time in my hospital , still i can contribute from now and than , so poeple stop talking only ,as i said those live in ajman -dubai save some time for this vital issue , allah allways helps people work in group , this is my humble suggestion, im ready to help

Latest update on Legacy

Hi All,
I went to ARRA to follow up on my complaint that I had filed back in Dec.2009. I was told by ARRA customer service Rep. that Legacy is 13% done and there is a 20% lag applied between your payment and actual construction done.
In my case I had paid around 40% so according to them I need to start my payment as soon as they complete 20% of work.
I did differ with her on the 13% completion that she quoted, which I think she got from chapal .
I am not an expert but it doesn't look like 20% completion if you take a look at the site pictures posted on Chapal website.
Anyway, I suggest all the investors in Legacy project to file complain so they may take our concerns more seriously. Also, we need to find out who will assess the status of construction. It should be done by a neutral party.
Regards,
Adnan

Just a suggestion

With the remaining 60% payment, you could buy a ready apartment in Ajman which is around AED250 per sq, ft (as quoted in Gulf news). Why would any one like to increase the risk by paying to the developer who has already delayed th project for over2 years and still asks for more with no infracture gurantees...
