Don't pay unliss a discount is applyed
Dear friends... I would like those of you who are residing in UAE to go to any Ajman's real estate brooker and ask for the prices of ready apartments. The reason for that is because I am getting offers to buy apartments in the best buildings of Ajman for AED200 per s.f. . The last offer I got was from Falcon Tower, one of the largest and best developments in Ajman. The ready to move in apartment is sold for AED200 per s.f. >
The question now is why do we continue payment for unbuilt towers at the rate of AED400 and higher and we don't know if they are going to finish building or not> Even if somebody has paied 50% of the price, it is cheaper to buy now a ready apartment for the remaining 50%. The whole idea now is not just that we must stop all payments until our apartments are ready, but we must demand discounts from developers because the prices we are paying are too high.
Instead of discount cheaters are threatening fine
It is disgusting to note that the cheater developers are instead threatening of fines or confiscating all the money already paid. The entire emirates city project could be saved by good developers coming forward and compensating the investors with discounts for their delay. But unfortunately the developers have learnt in their lives that success comes through only cheating innocent investors by colluding with people in power, and it is this good cheating experiance they know and have learnt from their fathers in their native original countries and passed on through generations. They have no background in management. Their foundation pillar is cheating. Few investors can present the developers help books that show success stories, about people who made big in their business by the virtue of honesty, trust and good work.

All of the above is so true, it simply doesn't make any sense to keep on paying for unfinished uncertain projects in Ajman at prices above 250 dhs/sqf.
And concerning rent returns:
I saw a studio (around 690 sqf) in Horizon towers for 16 000 dhs for rent per year. Once you can pay the maintenance charges for this, there is just 10 000 dhs left. Ridiculous!
