I recall one year ago, when they called and asked me to visit their office to collect the check for the unit that got sold to another buyer. It was very prompt and professional by Lake view real estate. Not many developers big or small could achieve that nor they would care to do so.

I would like to say something about TIME not for the lake view or any other developer.
When we purchased our properties with the developers mostly on the reputation and credibility of the developers in the market but that time market was in a very strong position or you can say we have seen good profit and less investment.Now the market is in the very critical situation not in UAE but all over the world that is why we are very concerned towards our investments.
According to me person can not be good or bad there is a prime factor of TIME.which can make a person good or bad.
Simply recall in your memories what you thought when you went to the Lake View or any other developer to make an investment ?
Did they forced by any chance ? or they have pressurised you to buy an property ?
The only answer is TIME , Bcoz TIME was good and conditions were more favourable thts why we invested.
So do not think about any developer or any individual that thy are GOOD or BAD. TIME made everything.
For your kind information i would like to say that LAKE VIEW has a second largest office area in that Business Center Building not from 1 year but they are going to complete 3 years. Frankly speaking, i have never seen this much big and beautiful office for a real estate developer in the town apart from NAKHEEL ,EMAAR etc.
You better know about that.
At last but not the least still they are in the office and fully operational.
i am sorry i have diffrent views about it.
1. offcourse time is diffrent that time and this time. but dont forget, we gave money to them as per their promises and trust, do you mean that they can try to mishandle our money and just say ok now time is diffrent? they may have second biggest office but what is progress on ground? have you seen the construction position of their projects? this is not a question of time , its question of trust and responsibility. whose responsibility is it to keep our money safe and invest it in right ways? because this is difficult time so they have right to keep our money in their hands and dont show any constructions or progress at site??
2. may be they did not force us to give our money to them that time but surely they lured us by showing photos of their proposed buildings , their promises and took our money... they signed the contract and gave us completion date, yes or no? and now because time is difficult we should allow them to delay the project 5 years?? and keep our money with them and demand more money reularly?
3. some investors gave post dated cheques because they had trust on them and how they responded for this trust?? encashed those cheques shamelessly knowin everything about very huge delay in projects and now we can see this and just say ok time is difficult so they are doing right thing?
i really dont understand that when we are blaming on them, its because of their 100% mistake, not ours, we gave money regularly as per contract and now they are going behind and behind and behind from their commitments and promises and you are blaming on us that why we paid money to them?

I fully agree with you newera. I am fed up with their lying techniques as well . Everytime I book an appointment with them, they cancel that at the last minute due to some medical emergency.Having a big office is pointless because it doesn't guarantee anything.At this point I am more interested to save my 75% than losing 35% I have paid till now. There is no sign of construction for LVT4 and no set timetable to satisfy investor.So my encounter with them is not as pleasant as it might be for others.
Dear Enzo, i do understand your position, one of my friend also have 2 apartments there but as now ARRA is makin regulations and asking them to open escrow account, i do suggest to wait a bit more dont think about loosing your paid money, this is time to wait not for exit, i do hope once escrow account is opened and visa is announced, you can make a safe exit with all your money by selling your apartment to someone who needs visa.. so just wait some more time..

According to my meeting with Mr. Ali, on last Saturday (21.2.2009), he confirmed that the construction will start in Lake View Tower 1, after 16 days (i.e. 10.3.2009) and ESCROW account will be ready at that time.
i dont understand what they are playing at.. i constantly email and phone, however the fools dont have the decency to reply back, This is not a joke, it serious money we are talking about, and we cannot sit back and be taken for a ride. myself and 2 other owners believe we should get a few people together and go to ajman to discuss this problem face to face.
