Developers' greed and tragedy
The threats by developer's representatives, politely worded, written in well drafted english only reinforces our impression that the present tragedy of Emirates city has failed to shock the developers. They still believe that they can get the investor's confidence by play of words without any action. Infact the successfull collection of money from investors by publishing catalogues in glossy papers and showing beautiful houses /amenities in computers graphics sets an example to all future sub-standard developers to emulate their example. Now when the time has come to deliver, cleverly worded replies and threats by the developer representatives to solely defend their developers is not a solution. The tragedy of Emirates city does not need mere heartfelt statements. The solution lies in genuinely compensating the investors and initiating criminal indictments to the frauds. This can only restore the trust of the investors and bring back the glory of the EC concept to the world.
