The UAE government plans to significantly cut down on expats populations within the next 15 years, this will be done through strict visa controls. The aim for this is to correct current demographic imbalance, in order to boost Emirati population to be a majority rather than minority. In other words. This is very dangerous news for people who are in UAE for a very long time, or those who invested in UAE, there is no future for you please get out while you can.

Forget about ever getting visas for your properties, UAE is drifting further and further away from any slight hope of having permanent visas for expats in the future.
