I am very disappointed to see pictures on their web site, they have done only 20% of work and have collected 65%, Last ten days they have hardly have done any thing, if this is the speed of constuction, than it will not finish in next 6 years.
We should not pay any money to Chapel and only make the payment if they complete 65% of work and after that we will deposit the money only in ARRA accounts only.

I talked to Ameer in Chapel office and refused to make payment, he told me that Chapel have decided to delay Glory project as it was sold at lower price and will use our money to pay for other projects, in short they want to keep as much money in banks and make 7% on it, if constuction is delay for two years than they will make at least 20% just simply keep this money in bank. I think we should not make any payment till they complete 60% of construction

you have to email them and ask for new payment plan... if you are a 3 year plan investor in chapal they will send you an extension of one more year to your postal address!

There new payment plan force us to pay all money before June 2011 and as per contract delivery of tower only happen in 2012.

I will only pay as per construction progress and not going to sign new contract and new five my friends refuse to sign the new contract.
Chapal with empty words!
Chapal so far has done very little, if any thing, concrete on the ground. They are just big talker and nothing meaningful to the investors to show practically in the UAE, and particularly in Ajman! Unless they open and establish ESCROW account with full details to every and each project, to which payments can be made, investors should refuse to pay any more instalments.

construction update
I am requesting all investors of Chapel Glory, to go to chapel web site and compare the construction update on May 22, and May 29.
No progress has been done, nothing new same old photos of May 22, 2009.
Last one and half month they only finish one floor, if you see the next building work is going on very fast. I ask chapel about this and they told me that Glory selling price is much lower than other building and they will work slower.
It meas they want to keep our money in bank for two years and make at least 20% on it.
I will not pay any further payment till they complete 62% of construction which I have paid so far.
Photographs can be misleading
Any serious worried investor, and I am sure there are many, must not put his/her faith and confidence on any developer by simply being shown photographs on line!!!! Photos are allusive, misleading and not-trustworthy! They can not only be taken at different angels to include views and scenes unrelated to the project itself, as is the case with Chapal, but also can be manipulated to give an impression of progress while there is nothing of the sort on the ground.
Hence, a personal visit to the sight, or a testimony of fellow investor/s is the kind of thing which one can fairly be confident with. A rule of the thumb: DO NOT TRUST YOUR DEVELOPER ON POSTED IMAGES ON LINE! Verify the progress either personally, by physical visit, or by fellow investors who visited the sight physically and witnessed progress on the ground.

ive contacted arera and they emailed me telling me not to pay further instalments until the escrow account has been opened. I forwarded the email to chapal, and they told me not to pay unless they forward me the escrow account number.
I visited the office and i read the conditions on the new payment plan. i didnt sign COZ IT SAYS IN THE OLD CONTRACT THAT IF THE CONSTRUCTION IS DELAYED FOR REASONS OTHER THAN NATURAL ONES WE GET COMPENSATION FROM THE DEVELOPER. so after the deadline i will be compensated. read ure old contract.
Sign of new contract
I have received many many call and firm warning to sign the contract I toldl new guy Natesh who ever he is that i am not going to sign new contract and i have already had paid 65% of cost and I can not see construction up to that level. This new guy told me that parking is complete and they will still have two years to complete the project. I told him ok complete the work upto 65% which I have paid than give me Escrow account I will deposit money in to that account. He is paid employee like other do not want to listen and have bed attitute, I am very disappoint with the whole thing.

did you make any alterations, change in payment plans resulting in them sending an amended contract ??
i would assume if you have been abiding by original contract terms, which signed by both parties with completion date of 2010, then there is no need for you to sign the amended contract.
rather their failure to complete construction in the specified time would give you a potential cause of action to see them, for brief of contract and consequential damages
