B14 - SH - payment

I stopped payment from 1 year - and now i sent to SH to cancel my contract and return back my fees
I know they will not return any dirham to me - but receptionist told me they will deduct 50% and return the rest at the end of project
now they reply that they will not cancel the contract and they will do only reschedule the installments
for me i cannot pay any more - still hopping to get back part of what i paid - please advise me

It shows you how our contracts are nothing but ink on paper. Its mentioned very clearly in the contract that the penalty of contract cancellation is getting a refund of 50% of amount paid, yet Sweet Homes refuses to obey the contract rules written by themselves. Again i repeat, our contracts are nothing but ink on paper.

Im on the same boat as you. I've asked to cancel my contract. This is the response i got by email:

"It is regretted to inform you that your request to cancel your property has been declined , accordingly cancellation is not possible as the construction is on going. For any fruther clarifications please feel to contact our Dubai office. Thanks & Kind regards, Customer Care Department".

I've stopped paying since then.
