Altitude Tower (BL properties)
BL properties now claims that they have a new contractor in place and construction work has commenced, WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE COULD CONFIRM THAT. They furthur claimed that Altitude tower is sold out and that flats will be handed over in time (which is not before december 2010 and not after november 2011) however they were mum about water electricity and drainage, they didnt have any definate information on that-- only speculations. At the moment after paying 60% I have very few options, legally they have STILL NOT breached any terms from the contract, (though work was stopped for over one year) only positive is that they are not asking for more money-- they have said that only after only after 4 floors have been compleated they will restructure the payment plan and ask for furthur installments.
There were speculations that they might dissappear from the market, thats the reason why i paid several visits to atleast cheack if they are physically present in their Dubai office.
Usually they used to reply to my concerned and periodic Emails, now i stopped getting replies from Our Legendry- Ms Mona, Munaver and Kurram. Either they are fed up of me or they dont have any face.
Investors from BL properties i guess need to stick to each other, lets start by getting each others Email adresses by leaving a reply to this topic. If we get togather and voice our concerns am sure the results will be better than just waiting and hoping something favourable will happen.

I was the week in emirates city, And no construction for altitude tower it is the desert !!!!!!!

these crazy BL properties people showed me another construction site (mr irfan!) last year, and told me that this was altitude , and made me swap projects...first i was with time square, then royal plaza and finally altitude !! unbelievable. the site he showed me had parking... these people are all gangsters! What can we do?? It is very disturbing and upseting! I hope they all go to hell !!

The only way forward is to keep pressing BL properties for construction. Every body should call to them and follow up on one thing- how is construction work. They have sold out project and collected more than 50% of money. There should not be any excuse of non construction. Problem of electricity and other necessities will be dealt by R Holding. I m sure 90 towers will not be standing without electricity. Important thing is construction activity

I am very pessimistic in regards to R-Holding's capability to deliver the infrastructure to EC. I think they simply have no money and no one in their right mind would lend them any money.

... and it just shows to everybody else, that ARRA approval and an escrow account is no guarantee for construction. The developers are being taken hostage as well by the Master developer, who is NOT delivering what they promised.
What we have to do

Then I called him he said he was out of his office when he return will send me the status of construction. Today I called him on his mobile but his line is not in service!!.
what we have to do, they didn't start and didn't return our money!!!! :(

hi. I know exactly what you mean !! they have the same story that they tell all of us : we are praying, out of office, will call you back,...same old, same old. they must think we are a bunch of fools !! it is really insulting my intellegence. I hope they stop lying ...
any way mr sandman is right, we should all get together, exchange mails and ideas and keep on calling and pressurizing them. After all this is the only project they have , in which people have all paid at least half of the money up front and legally they have to finish on time, or face the consequences for doing illegal staff.
We have to stand up for our rights, otherwise no one will come to us and say: here is your money back!!

we should all get a legal representitive to work on our behalf. when the completion date comes they will have alot to answer for !! i think they will have to face international police, there is no-where for them to hide.

let's face it our money is gone...we trusted BL properties and invested on Altitude, gave them our money on a good will, and they say we made a bad decision, the authoroties don't want to know....no one feels sorry for us! our money has been with them for more than 2 years now, and we not only have made no profit, but the prices have dropped, and worse than that we have to 'beg' them to talk to us, and tell us what's happened to our money... if you have invested alot of money on altitude tower like me : consider your money 'gone'...
if you are a new custormer, i hope you don't make the same mistake, and don't deal with BL properties..don't make the same mistake or you'll be sorry like us !! the project is in the middle of desert and there are alot of problems there, further more, the agents are rude and uneducated.

Unfortunately this is not the only case. There is hope that there will be a happy ending here. I've watched one video about such companies. I found it at shared files SE http://filecraft.com . There were so many people who suffered from it and lost the money and didn't get any flats. I was so sorry to look at them. But a friend of mine was lucky. After a lot of delays and postponing at last she got the documents which prove that the flat is hers now.
