The only thing to do know is to come. I suggest to all investors have to come in Ajman. Not 10 or 20 or50, even 100 but i talk in hundred people....
We will do a sit in in front of ARRA or Rholding with journalists and camera, we won't move until they do something for us. I guarantee the result. i am ready to take on my precious time if hundred people come with me, really this is the solution. We have invested in this project, we will force them to do what we want. even if we have to sleep in the street, they want to fight , ok let's go. I will burn tires in front of the ARRA'desk or in front of the ruler of ajman's house.....!!!!

Dear Ajmanbiz, I hope you don't give in to your emotions. I was part of the last delegation to ARRA. They refused to meet us as a delegation, instead they met us in small groups based on buildings. We ruffuled a few feathers and got some publicity in "The National" but there was no long term sustainable benefit. (ZP where are you?). However, I agree we need to keep trying.
Meeting ARRA as a delegation is one thing but burning tyres and sleeping on the roads will surely have you arrested and deported. If this happens, believe me neither the media or the investors will shed a tear for you. I am not trying to discourage you, but I think you have already discouraged others from joining you. I am sure many investors will join you if the agenda is peaceful. So please be careful in what you do, unless you have Wasta! Good Luck.

No result...ARRA is very dumb, Rholding is deaf and dumb, the sheichk, pfffffffffffffffff
So now, if lake view want to f.... us, they can easily. You will tell me: "stop, Aman Q. is in jail, so it's good...." i don't care he is in jail or in the moon or in pakistan eating chicken, i want a clear fact. Refund or work....that's simple....

I am with you but ppl have to realy take out some time for their investments.if we get ppl in 100's this time we will go there along with media coverage.
First to R-Holdings office as we need lot of answers from them .they being master developers .As ARRA will say the construction is not in their control only handling money.
But we also need to ask ARRA abt construction based payments and also the dispute panel.

Guys, please be careful when giving your details away to anyone on this forum. Although I am not saying that apartment swap by Jasur is genuine or not, there have been a lot of fraudulent cases during this downturn where some people are taking advantage of the situation... All i am saying is just be very careful.

I completely agree with you paul. You are concerned about your investment in Ajman that is about to be lost. You can go to the Dubai sites where you can see how the construction is going on. At the end the decision is yours, and i completely know how you feel. All legal documents will be disclosed in front of you and lawyers will assist you. No step will be taken with out legal advice. Legal contracts will be shown by the new apartment. And previous swapped deals will be shown as well.

I guess it might help if you can give details of the project, approx. price per sq.ft, developers name, construction status, completion date, contractual conditions, what in case the project gets delayed beyond certain date will the amount be refunded,etc

After visiting the offices
After visiting the offices of R Holding regarding my investments with Sweethomes in Emirates City Rainbow Towers this February the following news was relayed to me as an update.
1. There is no set start or ending date of the main infrastructure e.g. roads, shopping Malls, Mosque, Office Blocks etc
2. There is no set start or ending date for the main utilities e.g. Electricity, sewage, waters etc
3. There will be NO Lake in Emirates City anymore due to problems with water becoming Toxic in Dubai projects. (although I paid so much extra money for a Lake View apartment.)
4. It is possible that Emirates City may be finished in Phase's in the next decade so shall remain a building site for many years to come.
5. There is no possibility for a price adjustment from 500-600 Dhs to today's market rate of 200 Dhs per sq ft.
6. His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of Ajman's Municipality. is the Sole person behind this project and is the Sole Owner of R Holdings which guaranteed investors to come to Ajman and invest money and it is R Holdings that are solely responsible for all the main infrastructure in Ajman.
7. The developers are now collecting money as per the New Amiri Decree passed last year on construction linked payments by ARRA ( His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of Ajman's Municipality) and shall be paid out as per completion of building but this does not take into account that there shall be no roads, lights, shopping mall etc there, so we shall be left with a completed project in the middle of the desert!
I was given an email address to write to His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi with my concerns and I urge you all to write to His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi with your concerns and put pressure on the developers to re adjust the prices in Ajman, to stop threatening demand for money, to pay compensation for delays, and to cancel those affected by the changes in the master plan if they wish to exit and link the Escrow accounts payments to the overall master plan project completion rather then individual buildings as we were sold a Building in Emirates City and not the Desert with no power, water and sewage.
In my view most developers shall complete the buildings to 90% and receive 90% of the funds from escrow accounts then take of with our money leaving us with incomplete buildings with no utilities and infrastructure as there shall only then be 10% balance left to pay on completion. In this way the developers are in 50% profit and have no interest in our investment. The Government need to take a guarantee from developers and hold on to there passports or a big financial deposit to make sure they are still around until the full main project is completed including the main infrastructure.
It was the sole duty of R Holdings to check the compatability of the Lake and feasibility of the overall project before selling and launching the project, any change in the master plan shall void all contracts under the trade and descriptions act.
