All the EC investors
Salaam to all,
I call upon all the investors in EC to put our foot down now and seriously look in to the following points:
1. We all have had enough to date by the false promises by the developers, R H Holdings And Arra as well.
2. We were led believe that we will have our apartments handed over as per the contract in Dec 2008.
3.for those of us who have paid premium for the lake view only to be told that they have scaled down the whole project & there is no more lake nor do we know if at all there is going to be any shopping mall or any mosque nor any infrastructure.
The above is clear breach of the contract and Arra & the ruler of Ajman should be vigorously be pursued for either a full refund of all our investment or at least 50 % discount on the original price.
We the investors should clearly spell out to the developers that we are not going to part with any more Dhiram until our demands are met & that we will only pay the discounted amount only on completion of the whole project that has all the infra structures, all the amenities and the utilities in place.
Let us draw up the pet ion with out any further delay and forward the same to all the developers, Arra & the ruler of Ajman. If the ruler of Ajman fails us in any way we should be prepared to take the matter to the ruler of Abu Dhabi to address our greviences.
Failing above, we can press on our government to intervene on our behalf.

No developer who is a muslim will ever cheat. The developers in Emirates city are muslims and you can be rest assured that they will either refund money, compensate investors or bring about some other just solution. But a Muslim who has accepted Allah as his protector will never run away with the money the investors trusted them with. You have seen the honesty, integrity and discipline of the Western Christian world. Now you see the honesty of the Muslim world. The investors money is in safe hand. Don't give up. Remember that this is a muslim country, and thiefs get hands amputated in Saudi Arabia. So don't worry. Take care of your family. You have invested money to Muslims and it is in safe hands.

Ajman developers 'unite' to retain investors
In talks to form joint ventures, move investors to ongoing projects

Developers of ongoing projects in Ajman are in talks with other developers, unlikely to go ahead with their projects, asking them to move their investors to the under-construction projects, Emirates 24|7 has learnt.
“We are building two projects in Ajman and they are 50 per cent sold. We will look to lease our remaining units when the buildings get completed, but we are also in talks with other developers, who aren’t going ahead with their projects, to move their customers to our projects,” said Christina Cabading, President, BSEL Infrastructure Realty FZE.
She added that they have commenced talks with a number of developers and trying are to work out a deal that would benefit all parties.
“We might have a joint venture with the other developer and try an fix a price that will benefit us and the investor.
It takes time for such deal to materialise so we can‘t give any exact date.”
Cabading refused to give the names of the developers, but said that once they have finalized their deal they will approach Ajman Real Estate Regulatory Agency (Arra) for their approval.
BSEL, which had launched four towers, has commenced construction on two - Pearl and Fayrooz. The company expects to complete the project by 2014.
A senior executive of a development company, who refused to give his name, confirmed they were also in talks with other developers, but had not concluded any agreement.
“It is not easy… quite tough for us as there are a lot of things that we need to take care of,” he added.
This website had reported earlier that Arra had mooted the idea of allowing investors to swap their properties from stalled projects to under construction projects.
Former Arra Director-General Omar Al Barguthi had said in January that 98 out of 160 registered projects were under construction in the emirate

I already said long time back that some Developers are making fool by putting Some labor on site, they just want to earn much money by putting cheapest floor slab. PLEASE DONT Pay and save your money what ever is lost is lost... but not anymore.

I agree with Investor32 , abdool u can't blame all if u deal with some frauds and crooks not all are like these theives, this is not our point. our point is to be co-operate all of us and see legal consultant.

I have invested i Humaid City and Ain Ajman (the situation there is worse)and was offered to transfer to EC,sure i rejected the offer even.If the EC is not dead it is in coma with a tiny hope of waking up.In general the idea of new Ajman is dead.Now they are trying their best not to refund.The only way is to co-operate and unite but the question is how and who can quide

Muslim developers will no more be thieves
The muslim developers who on seeing a lot money coming to their hands tried to steal the money. But the mulim developers realize that stealing is a temporary phenomenon, and lasts till the money lasts. The muslim developers can learn from descipline in Western and other countries who work hard, develop with ethics, earn trust and make a lot of HUGE AMOUNT of money. Hence muslim developers, even if you have no regards of your religiuous duties, and even if you shamelessly want to grab anything you can get hold of, even if you that that this money was given by unsuspecting investors in trust. Try the honest way. Stop the temptation to steal. Make a new life and you will inshallah make a lots of money and be successful in the time to come.

I am also one of the investors who invested 60% of my hard earned cash in 2 apartments in Goldcrest Dream2, EmiratesCity. I understand that all investors who had invested in Emiratescity are very very angry due to the long delay of the completion of EmiratesCity. But we should not insult or accused the muslim religion or its people. On the other hand, the developers, should continue the construction of EmiratesCity until completion with water and electricity supplies. They should also not to threaten investors with cancellation of their contracts or legal actions or ask investors to pay more monies now. They should do their part and complete EmiratesCity even with a few more years. I beleive that investors would not mind to take delivery of their apartments even in 2013 or 2014 rather than to have all their monies or their deposits loss.

Listen to me everybody on this forum. I work in the UAE. I drive past Emiartes city regularly. It looks like a graveyard....rusting steel, cranes which are falling down, dust and sand covering everything. This project is dead in my view, based on what I see at the site. Sure there a few guys wandering around the site to make it look like work is progressing. But do not be fooled.
My advice: Best if you walk away and forget it. Forget getting any money back...put it down to experience in your life and move on. You have a life to live, and not be constantly reminded of this disaster. Its like a bad dream, so now wake upo and move on...forget the past, but remember do not make the same mistake again by trusting any developer with off plan property to sell. Only buy property which is completed and you can actually touch and feel and see it!
