With our busy schedule, was unable to follow up with my investment (damn me!) and now I have got a sinking feeling.
Had tried all their numbers in vain. Managed to get hold of Irafan, who is promising a transfer for few days now but looks unlikely.
Its a shame if ARRA has closed their ESCROW acccount.

Few points:
1) Irfan not working for BL properties any more, he left the company 2 month ago and have not received his last salary. I spoke with him today.
2) I also called to ARRA today and managed to speak to Deya, and he requested to email my official complain on his email - deya.t@arra.

And another very bad news.....
Deya has confirmed that there NO money from investors on escrow account, because BL Properties have not transferred all funds from the company bank account into esscrow, they just opened escrow account as per ARRA receint requirements and managed to pay 50K fees..... thats all!!!

I spoke with Deya last week and he told me the same about filing a complaint but when I asked what's next, he didn't seem to have an answer. Then I asked him if there are others who did that against BL Properties and what happened to their complaints and he said nothing so far!!
I am very disappointed and down and every day that passes I believe more and more that the money is gone for good. Having said that I'm gonna still fill in a complaint against BL Properties via ARRA just to keep some of the dream (which so far became a nightmare) alive and also to make it hard for them to keep my money.

BL completing developments
What kind of total nonsense are you talking about that BL are still committed to completing developments. Some points that i'd like you to think about - That is if you have a ounce of honesty still left in your body:
1) you have taken more than sufficient funds in most cases over 50% and work carried 3% over 3 years, nothing has happened for nearly 2 years now. your stories of new builders starting soon are no longer worth repeating.
2) fulfilled your contractual obligations - no way and no possibility of doing so. Even if you work flat out it will take years that that puts you massively behind handover dates promised in you contracts.
3) Why will you not notify clients, address investor concerns. Just running away is not going to help anyone. Lying about developments all the time to investors- we are pretty much fed up with your lies and bogus stories.
Give us some honest facts as to exactly what is going on, stop trying to swindle more funds. You are not replying to letters/emails and why have you chnaged your numbers and addresses and not notified everyone. Could you do the decent thing and let everyone know your new contact numbers and respond to emails.

Everybody, be careful, anyone can take the identity of "BL Properties" and write on this forum. The last thing this forum wants to be is a platform for communication between developers and their clients. A decent developer will contact his clients via their data base.
And to you "BL PROPERTIES": Your office is at the site of Altitude tower in EC? Is it a hut? a caravan? You are so run down in funds, that you can't afford a decent office anymore, not even in Ajman, where office rentals are dirt cheap? This is scary and certainly does not give much confidence in you.

Even if it is someone from BL then there probably sitting in pakistan, where they've had to run off to, after swindling so much cash. BL employees are not even repsonding to mails forget ever even contemplating completing any works. They are lying and buying as much delaying time as possible, they have no intention of honoring their contract responsibilities.
I think that the office is the port-a-cabin they are using based at Altitude tower, which is a total shambles and an utter joke for a supposedly established developer. The commitment that the will deliver at some point, what a load of copout rubbish. Yeh BL will develop at some point (next 20 years) after they have porbably resold these apartments 20 times over to other duped investors.
We've made the mistake of investing with a bunch of amateur developer crooks, fraudsters that the UAE government should have arrested and locked up for a very long time.
To all the crooked staff at BL I hope the funds you have been devouring from investors, brings you misery and all the suffering you deserve. Then one day when you are 6ft under i hope that God ensures that you pay for your frauds with his severest punishment. I have faith that even if you escape the law in this world you will not escape the wrath of God.

BL completing developments
So has anyone heard anything credible from BL, or is it all still same old rubbish?
I think they have done the off with all investor monies and we will probably never see them again. Only way may be to go after them in the courts.
BL are not answering any correspondences and ARRA will only make the odd comment (that is meaningless) when pushed. We've waited long enough for some work to start, so no more excuses on why they are delaying.
There is no way that they should expect any more payments, until we see some progress. we have to really foolish to hand over any more funds, without seeing progress.

Can you confirm where the meeting is tomorrow. Is it the ARRA offices in Ajman? I will try and make it for sure. Regarding previous comments on press. I have a PR company and have many contacts with the local press however I think this is going to be a tough story for to get covered, unfortunately it is old news for the media here.
Lets see what answers are given tomorrow but if the money is gone then its time to start tracking it back to the 2 Pakistani companies that own BL properties.
If there are enough people who involved that have had their money stolen then I am sure we can make life difficult for whoever has stolen it, wherever they are living!
If anyone from BL properties is reading this, then I am sure everyone would be happy to meet and try and sort this situation out. We all know its a difficult economic climate but if you had invested lots of your own money you would want to know what had happened to it aswell

Alright guys we went to Arra today as decided, i was accompanied with another 3 fellow investors, very sad that others living in UAE couldnt make it, since we were togather we were accomodated right away, individual complaints has been registered, and all details has taken down, the ARRA comfirmed that they also received complaints about BL properties and they also know that their office has closed down, (they will check if there are funds left in the escrow account------ but i really doubt there is anything lefteach investor has to make an individual complaint along with his details, as of now they are going to update whaediats next, but they also told us that we can feel free to make a police complaint, the best advice i can give you all is 1. make a complaint with ARRA (you might need it for your police complaint) 2. follow it up with a police complaint.

In order to have set a business up in the UAE BL properties must have had to provide a lot of details so I am pretty sure the police or ARRA or whoever could track these people down if they wanted to. Unfortunately Ajman is such a mess they don't know what to do. This is a crisis situation that the whole of the UNITED arab emirates should be facing up to and dealing with but no one seems to want to know. If Ajman suddenly reported that thousands of peoples cars had been stolen overnight, then Dubai and A D would be happy to send police to help. The only difference is that we have all probably lost on average more then the value of a car

Propose that we prepare a data base by email ID of all the investors in BL properties. Subsequently, we can meet at an agreed place in order to concur to a joint course of action.
This way we can verify the authenticity of the investors and further suitably agree to what best can be done. Guess, since BL properties have fleed, we have a strong ground to fight against them by lodging individual police complaint in a strong group.
Please be aware that this is an open forum and anybody can take BL properties indentity- It is prudent not to disclose your own indentity!

BL Property scams
We have been getting emails lately offering shares in BL, thats a joke. I really can't believe the audasity of these guys at BL, they've scammed enough, but there greed is really becoming unbelievable. I still don't see why ARRA will not take any steps against BL, what have they so far done about checking these escrow accounts - or will they wait to enaure BL clear all funds before they let us know.
Those guys that went over to Ajman could you elaborate on what the police indicate in doing against these registered complaints. When are ARRA supposed to be getting back to you guys. The whole thing seems to have drawn to a blank very quickly. I've asked BL what shares they are offering considering they have nothing built or even having any plans to develop anything, so what rubbish are they trying to swindle investors in now.

Can any1 give me the full details of ARRA and how to make a complaint against them, if you are from the UK. BL properties are clever bast****s conners. This is a hopeless case but we can just about try to do our very best, to get something back.

Hello Everyone, let me start by saying how relieved I am to have found this forum again. I did register sometime back but lost everything on my old laptop. I couldn't even recall the details of the website, and have been browsing google for some time now. Anyway am back now to the point. I live in the Uk and bought one of the 1 bedroom apartments on Altitude Tower, UNIT # 2705 - 27th Floor. I have made substantial payments and was willing to pay more till it occurred to me that my payments were were not being acknowledged in the usual manner and my calls were never answered. After what seemed like ages, I finally got through to One of the staff in the offices through the sales agent in the UK that introduced me to the property and I decided to make a stop over at Dubai on my way back from a business trip to China last year June. BL office was kind enough to send a driver to pick me up at my hotel and take me to the site. I was dissappointed that construction had not progressed as much as I had hoped, to meet the March 2011 completion date, but was pleased that atleast work was being done on site and there were workers present. Now on returning to the UK, it has been virtually impossible to get anyone to talk to or get ay progress. Once or twice i was able to get in touch with someone at the office, always with the excuse that he had been just returned from a trip. I did receive an email from BL to aleviate my concerns but thats about it.
Every business suffers a set back at one time or the other, but to just dissappear without informing the people you are indebted to is not acceptable. In the UK, if you owe money and can't pay back the FSA (Financial Services Authority) advises that you should first contact your lender and explain the situation to them, they most probably would understand and restructure the payments. In this case we are lenders to BL properties and they should have explained the situation to us, and let us know the available options. Indeed also ask us for ideas to move forward. Anyway, What next? ARRA! can anyone please let me know the proceedure in making a case? we have to follow this to a logical conclusion, and just letting BL get away with this kind of behaviour is not logical. Hope someone can help. Thanks

Allright guys as you have seen in the blog that there we had met a couple of times at ARRA office, one time in December and than again in January, a written complaint to ARRA is the first step to be taken, which i presume all have done this part, ARRA had informed us that they have started their own legal proceedings against BL properties, and advised us to initiate our own individual legal case against BL properties, first of all we went to the police station to register a case but we were sent to the court since it is a civil case, at the court we were told to file a case, get representated by a lawer, translate all doccuments to arabic and pay 6% of the claiming value as court fees, (so the amount is different for different cases) than the court will issue a warrent of arrest on entry to UAE, give an order to land department, traffic department, chamber of commerce, police etc to submit all ownership of assets and than give a 6 months notice for all registered stake holders about a set auction date and perhaps than the funds might be distributed, (my personal observation BL had planned this well in advance to dissappear with our money, i believe more that that worthless piece of land there is nothing valuable left behind)
also ARRA mentioned that there is a ray of hope to recover a % of money if it is payed towards the escrow account of BL properties. BUT THAN AGAIN GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND THAT BL PROPERTIES IS A STRONG COMPANY BASED IN PAKISTAN AND THEY HAVE DEVELOPED SEVERAL TOWNSHIPS ETC, AND THE COUNTRY ITSELF ENJOYS A GOOD RELATIONS WITH UAE, IF REQUIRED PRESSURE IS PUT ALONG WITH MEDIA SUPPORT THAN OUR INVESTMENT CAN BE RETURNED, BECAUSE THE BUILDER IS NOT BANKRUPT-- THEY ARE FILTHY RICH, AND MOREOVER THEY HAVE ONLY COMPLEATED PILING OF ALTITUDE TOWER AND SOLD FLATS IN 5 TOWERS, SO THE MONEY IS INTACT. WE SHOULD NOT RELY ON WHAT SOME PPL WHO ARE TAKING THE LEAD WILL DO, WE SHOULD ALL HAVE OUR OWN CONTRIBUTION, FACEBOOK CAMPAIGNS SHOULD INITIATE AND SEND TO ALL PEOPLE IN THE EMAIL ADRESS AND WITH THE MESSAGE TO SPREAD THE AWARENESS,
